Ping and win - disappointment with camera

Hi everyone,

I have just called Mcains and spoke to a lovely lady called Sarah who said that "its not acceptable" and that she will be speaking to the gentleman rsponsible for sending the cameras out, I really really hope she can. She was lovely on the phone and said that I was the first call she has received.
She said she will call me later today.
Will update you, lets hope they come through and that this is all some silly error on the shipping part.

Update - OH had a missed call yesterday and I rang for him today. It was McCains. Spoke to a very nice lady who said they were mortified that this had happened. She said they had had a lot of complaints on Monday and it was only then that it had come to their attention that the handling company had sent out refurbished ones. She said that we should leave the camera unopened (since we hadn't opened it) and send it back in the envelope when it arrives. Also that we would get a new one plus some vouchers as compensation. I must say, McCain's do seem to have responeded very well. We'll see, I guess!

That's good of them, what camera did they send? Were they McCain vouchers?

They were supposed to send mine on about 2 weeks ago but only sent it out this week so im hoping they have stopped sending refurbished ones out.
