What is it with all the poseurs on this thread trying to impress us with their fancy fonts?

Impassioned call to restate this forum rule. :T

I don't come to MSE often but when I do it's to give or recieve support. I'm drawn to the benefits forum because that's my day job (NOT DWP-the claimant's side) and there are some notable stalwarts giving fantastic advice and info.

However, I reel from the many misinformed and sometimes bizzare posts made in response to requests for help made by decent people in real desperation. Please, if you need to attack your own just post to the Dail Mail blog or join the Tory party. The people who post are asking about legal entitlements, they are not asking for help to fiddle the system. If you think the system is wrong speak to your MP, and whilst your at it, if you want to know why the books don't balance ask what they are doing about the billionaire tax dodgers.

I like how you have a go at people having a go and then in the same sentance slate the tory government.

    Hypocrite...? I would say so!
The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!

If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!

4 people on the ignore list....Bliss!

MSE isnt about people getting their benefit entitlements and hasnt been since I have been a member.

The majority of people are scammers.

I work in a job where I come into contact with large numbers of Benefit claimants - perfectly positioned to judge I would guess.

Like I said in response to snakeeyes - its personal experience of benefit claimants - some of whom i know personallly and others I dont.

I'm aware there are genuine people out there - thats why I only said its a majority and not everyone.

That was not what I asked. I take it you cannot answer my question?
    Gone ... or have I?

You have been a member of MSE for over three years. In that time you have posted on the Benefits board sixteen times, so approximately once every two months. If you wish to change the ethos of the board, or what you perceive the ethos of the board to be, why not actually contribute something, rather than just moaning about it?

That's right, reduce everything to statistics, that's really helpful! :D
