    Spirit jb on the iPad is simples, plenty of video guides online. Then use cydia to drop on openSSH and you can access the whole system remotely. I added entries to the hosts file so the main advertising sites point to 127.0.0.1 to kill adds in Safari. I knew which ones to target by looking at my block list in Adblock in Firefox on my PC ;)

    Can I upgrade to the new os on my iPhone or will I lose the jailbreak facility? Some sites says the jb is available but others don't

    theres stories about people losing every thing when upgrading the new os, happened to 2 friends:eek:
