Afternoon and what a wet and miserible one it is, got soaking wet on the way back from library, so i'm now showered and in pj's and a lot warmer.
Today has been a NSD:D, hoping that this weekend remains low spend, not really doing much and can see a movie afternoon taking place tomorrow as the weather is supposed to be pants, will need to nip to Tesco on Sunday as will need bread for kids lunch boxes, going to try not to buy much and use what we have, we have loads of eggs and tins of tuna so kids will be having that in there sandwiches next week, also need to bake little cakes and flapjack, only got a few yoghurts but i have got individual little jelly moulds with lids, so might make them jellies with fruit in instead of buying more yoghurts, will also make a pan of soup and that will do me for lunches next week, really want to try and save as much money as possible.
£4 has hit paypal from survey i did last night, so have £11 in there at the minute, this is going to be used for fish and chips one night when we are away on our break in the easter hols, just need to add a bit more to it:p.
Hope everyone has a fab weekend.0 -

Morning Pennywise, yay to banking the cheque and it covering the costs into the castle. At this rate this break away wont have cost you a penny which is fabulous :j. Doesnt it just show that things can be done without really costing you a penny, makes me cross that I didnt discover this fact sooner!
Im sure it used to be Morrisons who gave out those Legoland tickets, if I come across any il let you know.
You sound like youve got everything planned for next week to help you with no spending. Keep it up :T x xMummytogirls x0 -

Had quite a productive morning, have tomato and lentil soup on the go in the slow cooker, bread makers on, made choc crispy cakes and flapjack, jellies have been made an put in fridge to set and have put a rice pud together ready to go into oven later, found some popcorn kernals in the back of the baking cupboard so have made some popcorn and dd is happily munching away whilst watching Babe, will also make popcorn for lunch boxes instead of buying crisps this week much healthier as well.
Right better go and put another load of washing on.0 -
Thanks for popping into my diary.
I was just catching up with yours. You have done so well organising your weekend away and at such low spends of 'real' money.
You will have a fab time and come home with happy memories and not bills:)

I agree, I am totally rubbish at the whole lunchbox thing. I do it for a week and then don't bother again and have to buy lunches. Silly really, think it's because I can't see how I can make lunch for less than £2 including a drink, if you think about it though I can as it's not just me spending the £2....Loan - [STRIKE]£6991.95[/STRIKE]£6180.01; Barclays Res - [STRIKE]£600[/STRIKE] £0 - £22 per week , NWB Grad O/D - [STRIKE]£1185[/STRIKE] £887.86 18.28% SWALEC - [STRIKE]£700[/STRIKE] £0 NPOWER [STRIKE]£220[/STRIKE] £0 Kays - [STRIKE]£591.28[/STRIKE] £0 TOTAL DEBT - [STRIKE]£10,288.23[/STRIKE] £7,000.01 31.96 % Paid off.
