Well 2 days into being back at work and the b!tch!ing and sniping has started, try to keep myself out of it but it just gets so depressing, personally think if your not happy in teaching then get out of it, cos the negativity is only passed onto the children, anyway got that off my chest.

Nipped into Tescos after work for a much needed bottle of wine and ended up spending £43:mad:, really need to stay out of the supermarket when feeling down, at least we have plenty in for the next couple of weeks.

No goodies/freebies in the post:(, hopefully new foundation will arrive soon.

Banana cake hasn't been made feel like vegging out with a glass of wine and Waterloo road tonight.

Need to be up early in the morning for the Travelodge sale so alarm clock will be set for 5.50am:eek:.

is it the actual job that is the issue with the people in your work or is it just general b1tching?

i know in my work we can get quite b1tchy but it is usually due to management ... not the actual job
  • elentan its b!tching about the job/ each other, but because it puts out a negative atmosphere this effects the children as they pick up when members of staff work together that do not get along and they then play on that, i've not had any fallings out, just stuck in the middle of different members of staff that i work with, try to keep my head down and just get on, honestly they are worse than the kids some days and it does start to get me down:(.

Kat only you can decide whats the best way regarding any more children, started with my 2 at 24 and as there is only 14 months between, so all the baby part was over in a short space of time, at the time it was blinking hard work but now i'm so glad i did it that way and they are so close and get on really well most of the time and DD was to young to remember DS being born so didn't really have the problem of a new baby comimg along and taking mummy away, also means they are both at school a year apart and i'm able to get on with my job.

Today has been another spend day, spent £8 on lego, present for DS friends birthday, £6 avon, £4 in the pet shop on chews and don't shoot me down but nipped into Tesco for bacon for breakfast in the morning and managed to spend £12 on bits that i probably could of done without, i don't think wine is classed as a necessary.

No jobs have been done today around the house, so can see tomorrow being a housework day:mad:.

ahhh i can totally sympathise there ... it will have a total knock on effect on pupils other staff memebers everything
  • Well its the weekend, have had a lovely lie in and hubby brought me a bacon butty and a cup of tea in bed:D.

DS is off to a party in a little while, hopefully this will cheer him up as he has woke up in a terrible mood and is really starting to do my head in.

Need to renew DD pony club membership as it runs out at the end of the month so thats £22 that i hadn't budgeted for this month:mad:.

Today is a general tidy up and mend it day, have a couple of pairs of trousers that the hems have fallen down so going to fix them, blind in kitchen not working properly so going to try and fix that.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

    Hi Pennywise

Lucky you getting a butty and cuppa in bed, I'm lucky to get a glass of water brought to me!

I'm having to tweak my budget again to take into account school trips, ad-hoc gifts such as Mothers and Fathers Day, window cleaner and bin cleaning service I'm hoping that this will be it now as I really can't think what else I could have forgotten.

    Have a great weekend xx
  • Going to use Tesco voucher that i ordered a few days ago from survey site to buy Mothers day flowers for MIL hope it arrives in time, my mother will just get a card this year and to be honest after her recent behaviour she will be lucky to get that, but i'm not having her say that i didn't bother.

Hi Penny - sound like you've had a few dark moments in the last week or so. Glad you've managed to stay so positive! i haven't really thought about mothers day. My sis is a single parent and her ex is rubbish at buying things on behalf of the kids so I will probably end up organising something for her family and mine and our mom - we usually go out for a meal or sopmething - may cook this year to keep costs down!!
Proud to be dealing with my debts,

  • Gosh were did the weekend go?

Good day today, work was hectic, but managed to get on top of a few things, have had more things added to the list for tomorrow but at least i fel like i've caught up and on top of things, shame the same can't be said for the house as it looks like a bomb has gone off.

Well not much got done over the weekend as we took advantage of the nice weather and had a couple of nice long walks, blew away some cobwebs and feel much better for it.

Todays spends have been to the milkman £8.00, have withdrawn £4.40 from a survey company into Paypal, going to try and leave any money in paypal until we go away in easter holidays, hopefully may have enough for a meal out or at least fish and chips.

    Off to make tea.

Evening pennywise, glad you had a good day at work. Dont you find the nicer weather makes everything feel much better. I love getting out, letting the kids run free a little bit and everyone seems much happier :).

Im doing the same with my survey money. We go away first week of April and it will be nice to have some extra spending money x
