And DS has come home with another party invite.0
-
Didn't post yesterday as i spent most of it working/cleaning and ferrying children to various afterschool activities, did recieve £4 paypal payment for a survey and have withdrawn £3 paypal payment from another survey site.
Today i have managed to spend £5 on a lovely hardback book for DD for christmas and have also spent £7 on some thermal underwear for DD, she needs this for under her horse riding clothes in winter.
Postie has brought me Post office CC statement so i will pay that tommorrow after work, also brought me a Jordans cereal bar, so that tommorrows snack sorted for work.
Decided that i am really unfit and need to lose some weight it seems to have crept up over the last 6 months and i need to do something about it, not going on a mad diet, but def need to eat healthier and do some excerise, so today i walked into work which is just short of 2 miles did cheat and get a lift back from a collegue who was driving through the village that i live in, but still i have walked nearly 2 miles, gonna try and do it a couple of times a week as long as weather is'nt torrential, might save a little on petrol as well.0 -
Work this morning and so far have managed not to spend a penny, that will change later on as DD is at Pony club so that will see £25 off. Postie not brought me anything today and feel quite disappointed:(. DS brought home schooldinners bill yesterday £30, will pay that monday.
Fre listing weekend on Ebay so need to find as much stuff as possible to put on but to be honest there is'ne much, not sure whether to put on kiddies winter coats from last year or whether i should hang onto them for another month or so.0 -
Isnt it weird how things change! I used to hate the postie coming with bill but now i like to see it going down!!!
Thanks for the free listing info - i didnt know about it and have a fee bits i could do with listing for more then 99p...GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. No6 Due Mar 2013 My world.:j0 -
No probs, need to sort through kids draws and list anything they have outgrown.0

Again postie has brought me nothing:(.
Been quite organised this morning, have so far made soup, washing machine and dish washer is on, dog has been fed and walked, sorted a pile of stuff to ebay, have put entered meter readings online, currently £150 in credit, leaving it though as i'm hoping that it will help through winter especially if this year is anything like last, organised hubby to pick up a parcel from sorting office after he had taken DS to footie, no point in us both going into the same town in seperate cars, i would only of spent a fortune anyway as i wouldn't of been able to resist nipping iinto Tesco and it also saves petrol.0 -
Morning, yesterday wasn't as productive as it should have been and now its Mondy morning and house still looks like a bomb has gone off.
Only managed to list 8 items on ebay yesterday, had about 20 things to list, just couldn't get into it, anyway they all have watchers and a couple already have bids and they don't end until the weekend.
We decided to pootle off to a local fate yesterday as it was a lovely day, kiddies managed to spend a total of £12 which isn't bad for them and we did have fun watching the pig and sheep races:D. Decided to then have a wonder and managed to pick a load of blackberries, which have gone into the freezer, i will turn them into jam when i have some more jars, after all that we were starving so we then spent £15 on sausage and chips and drinks for all of us from chippy, they were very yummy.
This week we need to only spend what is necessary, today that will mean paying PO CC bill that i forgot to do on Fri and paying school dinners, also need Petrol in the car. Dragged bread maker out of cupboard havn't used it in over 12 months:( very naughty of me, so will start getting back into that, also on Fri/Sat night i served HM soup as a starter with bread and noticed hubby didn't dig in for 2nds with his main meal, so going to keep this up;).0 -
Hiya, I have just found this site today, after trawling for "debt support"
Read through "most" of your thread and found in very interesting.
I dont have any children at home, just me and DH. I am hopless when it comes to managing my money, spend it on loads of rubbish and things I do not even need ? Which is mostley how I have got into debt.
I also overeat as well as overspend, so need to tackle that too.
Hope you dont mind me butting in on your thread.

Hi pennywise, well done on listed 8 of your items, better than 0 I suppose!! Will you list the rest of them tonight?
Your Sunday sounds lovely, hope you make lots of scrummy jam out of the blackberries! We have allotments near us and theres loads of blackberry bushes which have overgrown and are spilling out onto the walk way. Maybe I should take a leaf out of your book!! Is now the best time to pick them?
Hope you have a relatively low spend day today xMummytogirls x0 -
HI minstrel butt in anytime, often feel as though i'm waffling on at myself:).
HI mummy hopefully list some more on ebay some time over the week:o. Had a fab day, Ds was such a sweetheart and even started chatting away about what else we could find that was free, cos it would save us pennies and then we would have more money for treats:D, so proud of him, i think he is going to be good with money unlike his sister:(. Get picking mummy, you can always freeze them and use when you need them.
Paid school dinners, but didn't pay CC, ok as its not due until 26th, havn't put petrol in car either but red light has just come on so will be ok until tommorrow, nipped into Mr Ts for fruit and veg and spent £7.66 and only bought what was on the list:D.
Have put bread maker on so will have a lovely fresh loaf for with soup tonight and beef cobbler is about done just need to make scones for the top, going to make some cauliflower cheese to go with it, pud will just be fruit, hoping no one will want pud after that lot though.
Weather is so cold and miserable here that i have lit the woodburning stove, we are lucky that we get all our wood for free and i told oh that CH is not being put on until it get really cold, i'm hoping we can last until at least the end of Oct beginning of Nov.0
