Went and bought presents from home bargains also bought a christmas present for DD spent £15.75.
Need to put some petrol in the car as red light came on on way home from work, will do that when i drop DD at party tommorrow.

Nothing of interest in post, DS got his Lego mag so he will be a happy bunny when he gets in from school.

Have also sold an item on ebay a whole £1.75, but its something and will cover the cost of a cardigan i had bid on.
  • Can't believe the weekend went so quickly, spent most of saturday ferrying small children about to various parties and activities, yeaterday we decided to have a bit of a walk so went up to the lakes for the day, took a picnic, spent £4.50 on car parking, but we had a lovely day and as most of the tourists had gone home it wasn't too busy.
Spent last night cooking made 2 meat and potato pies, a lasagne and tomato soup, was also given a bag of damsons so have made 9 jars of damson jam.

Havn't paid anything off debt this week, waiting for statements to start popping through the door.
  • Hi, just caught up with your diary. Like you I find being off work expensive, I blame the kids but to be honest, it's me as well!!:o Still, we've got to treat ourselves sometimes!!

One of the few bonuses of having a DD who is 17....no more party invites, although the 6th form Classics trip is to Athens next spring, I'd better get saving.

  • KIds are so expensive - you want them to make friends but like you say the parties cost loads - presents every week!! Then what happened to kids being happy with a little tea party at home with a game of pass the parcel? And don't start me on the school trips......

  • :D Kids aye, who'd have em.

Well seems like i've been shelling money out all day today
    £13.75 for milkman
£3.75 for this 1/2 terms teas at work
    £3 towards collegues Birthday flowers
    £15 halifax credit card
    £65.38 shopping at Sainsburys.

Quite pleased with the shopping bill as it started off at £84.26 but with various money off voucher/coupons it reduced quite a bit, could of been less but treated myself/family to some goodies, choccie fudge cake and coca cola being the main culprit, both were on offer, also bought a hand mixer as mine died, could of managed without but its much quicker with a hand mixer and saves time.

Have also ordered a £10 Amazon vouchers from a survey site.

Right gonna have a quick cuppa and pick kiddies up from school.
