  • o2bfree your very welcome, i do feel that i waffle a bit though.

Well today has turned into a very lazy day and have done very little but lay on the sofa watching carp, washing mountain is still there and going down very slowly, did spot some blackberries at the bottom of the garden whilst hanging out washing so have picked them, wasn't many so have frozen them until i have enough to make a crumble.

Have managed to get to 1000 points with a survey site, so have withdrawn and should recieve a cheque in 6-8 weeks, not sure how much i will get as it depends on exchange rate, last time it was about £30, so fingers crossed.

My dear children are driving me mad, they are defo ready to be back at school, had a day of sniping and fighting and have just lost it and sent them to their rooms.
  • PAAAAAAY DAAAAAAY:j so today i am taking kiddies off to cinema, will pop into boots as it is near to said cinema, never really go as think its expensive compared to places like home bargain, but i do have about £4 in points so going to spend them on something exciting like toothpaste or shampoo, just need to find the bl**dy card:o.

Need to pay a couple of bills and do car tax disk online, can't be bothered battling with post office and also can't find insurance document.

Still need to bake as it didn't happen yesterday and need to pop to Mr T as forgot a couple of things on Sat in sainsburys, don't think the dog will appreciate not eating till next week:D.

Have worked out that my minimum out goings this month for bills, kids, car will be £500:eek: and this is without Groceries:(, going to allow £200 for Sept for Groceries, hoping with the Sains vouchers i have i will be able to stock up on dry goods to see us through winter.

Tonight tea will be JKT spuds and beans/cheese and Apple crumble and custard.

Hope everyone has a good day, can't believe last day of summer hols tommorrow, oh well back to work Thursday.
  • Back from the cinema, went to see marmaduke, very funny and we all really enjoyed it, except DD is now wanting a great dane:eek:. Managed to leave sweets on the kitchen top so total spend in cinema came to £19.40 for the 3 of us:o.

Nipped into card factory and got 7 birthday cards for £1:D, couldn't find boots card so think i might need to order a new one, parking also cost me £2.50. Nipped into Tesco and nearly died at the till when it came to £45:mad:, bought a school bag and beer that i hadn't planned to.

Also began baking this morning and hand blender broke on me, completely died, so looks like i will have to buy a new one, they have a basic one in Sainsburys for £4.99 so will buy that next week will probably use nectar points so at least it will be free sort of.
  • Carp day moneywise, nipped to Asda to get DD some leggings and jeans as she has had a growth spurt and everything is halfmast on her spent £27, Went out for the morning with my sister had a lovely walk but we decided to stop off at a nice little cafe for lunch and spent £25, glad i'm back at work tommorrow at least it might save me some money.
Postie brought me a Rimmel lipgloss that i had won, not really my colour so have put it with christmas bits for DD.
  • Well its back to work and school today for us, nice to get back to work and get back into the swing of things, Feeling quite lucky today as when i was dropping Kids off at school was talking to a mum who was saying that her hubby might be made redundant and her job is looking iffy (nhs), then got to work and a collegue was saying looks like her hubbies going to lose his job again nhs, its just awful, can't understand how people can say we are coming out of this recesssion, to me it looks as if its going to get worse before it gets better:(.

Managed to spend £7 in stationary shop near work, as all my pens rubbers etc have disappeared from my pencil case, dam children.

Have just made £6.59 on ebay so nearly covers the above and postie brought me a free pack of simple face wipes and no bills :D.

Managed to forrage a few more blackberries out of the garden so have bunged them in freezer, must go and do some proper blackberry picking as i want to make some jam.

  • Hi Pennywise

Have never posted on here but just read your complete diary and it has made me think about what I am doing. I am paying off my debts but still owe a huge amount of money (but at least am doing something about it).

Anyway reason for posting was to make sure you are using your Nectar card when you shop at Amazon. I assume you probably are but if not you need to register online at Nectar.com and then click through to Amazon via Nectar. You get a point a £ I think but sometimes they do double or triple point offers. Everything helps. Apologies if you already do this and I am telling the converted.

    Keep up the good work.
