I'm sorry to disappoint but the only thing I've posted recently is on the Discussions board, about a feral cat!

Someone was talking about the Stones being a disappointment. My husband went to see Springsteen, he said that was a disappointment. We both went to see Mark Knopfler, that was a disappointment.

My husband said tonight that probably the best live band he'd ever seen was Slade during the era when they used to play at out local village hall when I was 15 and they were called the N Betweens.

I probably agree, they were full of life, very 'different', and very loud! (Before they went all Glam Rock).

Noddy Holder still goes drinking in the local with his Dad. Dave Hill is a Jehovah's Witness and has been seen on numerous occasions at our local Kingdom Hall. Don't know what's happened to the other two.

My husband worked for them when he met me, as a roadie, but he gave it up so that we could have some sort of realtively normal married life, bless him.

Sorry....reminiscing is NOT allowed on a Growing Old Disgracefully thread!;)

    Mornin all.

Funny how some people have different views, a relative went to see the show and said it was 'fab'

I always tell it as it is some people have to say it's good to justify having gone at all:confused:

One of the security guys told us as we were leaving that loads of people had complained about this show that the sound was bad and it had been poorly organised, most complaints they've had.

Sorry maybe moaning is not allowed either.:o :D

I'm disgracefully sitting here in my dressing gown drinking coffee and smoking:eek:   disgusting habit but I'm hooked:mad:

I understand now ,you thought that the shaz was my wifes name ,suppose some people use a mixture of first names.I would love to talk about her,she has been having chemotherapy for lymphona, and her hair has just started to grow back, our son told her that it was a number one.We can see light at the end of the tunnel now,and she has agreed to go away for Christmas, something she would never do before,Christmas day in Casablanca is that disgraceful?
