cheaperoil.com is still showing as £311 for 900 litres, and £178.50 for 500 litres. (if paid with debit card) - that's for delivery in the Belfast area0

Just to let everyone know... I ordered oil from Cheaperoil.com on 28th Sept at 1.40pm and received it on 29th sept at 10.10am - I did not pay any surcharges and our oil tank is in an odd place - superb service I must say0

I just paid £249 for 700 litres at cheaperoil.com, they were £20-£30 cheaper than some other suppliers (who wouldn't match cheaperoil!). I am just wondering why the price of petrol was able to be lowered a couple of weeks ago (by asda and tesco etc), but oil has remained at exactly the same price or more expensive!! It dosen't make sense to me!
Anyhow, I dont know if this has been posted before but if you don't want to use the cheaperoil.com site and would rather phone your order I found their number, which is as follows:
0845 5850 5858
They are a very friendly bunch!0 -

i mentioned before on an oil thread, cheaperoil are a subsidiary of Nicholl Fuels so are a reputable and well established company. i started using them last year after maxol direct stopped price matching and were being really arsey about access to my (terraced) house.
I cannot fault them... Don't pay the tenner extra for next day delivery as in my experience and that of my boyfriend (about 6 deliverys so far) they deliver next day anyway. (and the experience of SaTScB)0 -
Just a word of warning people. Was talking to a home heating oil retailer (Belfast Based) a few days ago, and he expects 1000l to top the £500 mark this side of xmas. Might be worth getting some in now :eek:0
