Coffee £2.10, lunch £6.57. My annual season ticket runs out on 8 July, where did that year go.......................I have managed to book the day off on Friday so I will be having a lovely long week-end.0

Coffee £2.10, milk 48p
Great week-end and back to the fray. I had to take clients for dinner last night £169 for two courses, one bottle of wine for three people. Gotta love those London prices.................at least it can be claimed back.
I am spending this week-end with friends which will be good, and the following week I am taking my second long week-end in a month to do some work in my house. Really need the house to be finished and stop adding things that would be nice to have to the list of works.0 -
Hmmm it's been a funny couple of weeks but I am back, back, back. Over half way through the year and mortgage paying off is not going well. However Ebaying is going great guns and I have cleared a lot of "things". Boxes more still to go!
I still have quite a bit of work to do on my house but my flat is under offer, every extremity crossed that it will go according to plan and sell. I might make one of my target for this year, i.e be down to one mortgage only.
My next big target is driving. Clearly this is a spendy year, I might just keep on going and regroup for next year. It is the year of getting the building blocks in place for my future life.0 -

Wowser, that was quick :j:j:j:j:j, tell more!!!!!A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Absolutely stunned, I had a week off work, got everything that needed doing done, and the third person who viewed made an offer £8k less than the asking price, we settled on £5k lower. To be honest I am holding my breath, it is unbelievable and, of course, who knows if it will go through. The only thing is that I now know whatever happens it will sell at some point. It is a good first flat, in a reasonable place.0

Probably means you priced it right. Round here, there are optimistically priced houses that sit on the market for ages and ages, and those that are "priced to sell quickly" that get snapped up very quickly indeed. Well done, and good luck. Hope your buyer doesn't have any mortgage hassles.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Beautiful day here, sunny but not too hot. I have planted out next years perennials: lupins, hollyhocks, delphiniums and some French lavenders. I have also pulled some compost from the bottom of the Dalek to mulch around new planting. I am going to do major changes in my garden this autumn as I will definitely be getting a greenhouse for next spring which means re=thinking the whole garden.
I have avoided the shops successfully for two whole days, 2 X NSD in succession this is a record!0 -
I seem to have missed your diary for a little while. Great going on the ebay sales and the possible selling of your flat. Lots going on, and you will need to declutter a lot to have one place again so good that your first ebay outing was kind. I think you sold as many things in one go as I would in a year.0

wow that was quick I am behind in the race must feel fab to have a buyer!!

well done on ebaying and also on NSDS - thinks looking good indeed your end!0 -
Fantastic news on the offer - that really was quick!
I have a query regarding buying a second home which I have posted on my diary, if you have time to look and comment that would be much appreciated
