You can watch the highlights later tonight on BBC, Dora, so everyone is happy!

Spent a few shekels in the local shop today, but expect no spending for the next couple of days - watch this space.

    Hello! :hello:

Not an NSD for me today but quite an LSD - only 99p on some eggs. Used vouchers that I had for M&S to get wine and goodies for girly night in tonight, so don't feel too bad. Fingers crossed I can do it tomorrow!

  • Reporting with NSD 5 for today :j Had a very busy and spendy weekend but have had a lovely quiet day today. Football tonight although it's going to be very late in our time zone! I'm hoping for another NSD tomorrow and possibly Monday. I'm out on Tuesday night so that will be spendy. Wednesday is looking busy but nothing to spend hopefully. So if all goes to plan (but really, does it ever?), I should be able to get another 3 this week.

Glad to hear that things are going well for everyone else. As usual, I'm slightly behind on the thread but will try and catch up tonight.

Well i ended up going out to lunch at the pub to get away from the racket at the back garden, so despite shaking my thingy, my booty and Hubert's ears, it didn't rain and the noise got worse. Council noise people don't work on a Saturday so will have to wait until Monday so that I can vent to them.

So my spendy day can be laid firmly at the feet of the eejits at the bottom of the garden, made me a very grumpy dopey, let me tell you!!!

    Hi NSDers,
Nice catching up on what everyone's been up too, fab job you're doing Spoon, it is day 5 for me please:j, 10 more to go.

Monthly shopping was due on the 1st of june (bulk), still haven't done it because i'm clearing out the freezers and cupboards first.

Spent the last few days using my spare time, usually after work, to cook meals, portion them up and freeze them:p. Looks like I can manage another another week or so, clearing out, and that means eating healthy too.. So much frozen veg in the freezers, some dating back to 2 shoppings ago:eek: NSD challenge will for the first time actually motivate me to prepare some nice vegetarian dishes next week.

I tend to spend very small amounts like £1 on 15p drinks etc at work each day, but these obviously add up. So I am going to say 5 no spend days for the rest of the month if I may? :)

    Hi all :hello:

Thanks for the encouragement and for all the work you put into the thread Spoon :kisses3:

Managed my number 4 today even though work was full of stress and I so wanted to go to the shop for choccie or similar but managed not to :), Doctor Who and a footie free evening will be enough to enjoy I decided.

I'm working again tomorrow but it's an early shift. There is a music festival on our market square tomorrow, all free but there are a couple of bands I want to watch and some friends are going. I am so determined though to have an NSW (Weekend LOL) as I don't think I have ever managed one before that the plan is to get off a bit early (was late out today) so I can get home and eat something before I go, then take a bottle of tapwater and no cash with me......at least if I have no cash I can't be tempted. Well that is the plan let's just hope I can stick to it. I will make sure that checking in here afterwards is part of the plan too and so hopefully that will increase my willpower. I do seem to be more connected to this challenge more this month so I am hoping I can keep it going.

Well done everyone else :T:Tand thanks again xxx

Hi everyone - having a flippin nightmare today - laptop been playing up for days, then this morning it decided to get a virus which wiped EVERYTHING - photos, itunes, my beloved spreadsheets.:mad::mad: Spent the best part of the day trying to fix it then relented and took it to the laptop man who shook his head a la Little Britain and said "computer says no" - Had to pay him 20quid for telling me that! :mad:Finally got it up and running again, but no wireless access so Im hooked up to cables! Also trying desparatly to remember my"favourites" :rotfl:
So no NSD - also bought some plants for the garden which I planned to put in today, but no luck as tied to pooter.........

Not a happy Jinty today - tomorrow will be better - hope you are all faring better than me - :)

Tracksuit would be perfect, 3Dogs, and accessories too. I'm going for a shell suit with white trainers, handbag, bling-y jewellery and a scooped up ponytail.

Generally known as a Croydon facelift lol
    Morning All

Will try really hard to-day as had big spendy day yesterday. Have been up since the crack of dawn due to terrifically inconsiderate neighbours making whoopy with an industrial lawnmower on the bit of grass just outside our bedroom window at 6.30am!!!! Lucky I haven't been arrested for murder so far.

Here am I on a nice sunny day in summer doing a rain dance so it pours on them and they'll have to go in and give up!!!!
Poor you, I'd put sugar in their lawnmower tank methinks. :T

Mind you I thought you were sorting out a new man for me P Diddy?
I can ask my Heffalump to give the cloud a big blow with his trunk... fingers crossed it might work!! :D
What colour is your heffalump BDINI? Mines purple and called Polly

Jinty we share the same birth week. My birthday is on Wednesday :D

Petrol for the car today, filled it up so that I have enough to get to Windsor and Legoland with the grandkids on my birthday.

My best mate is taking me out for a birthday meal tonight and another friend is cooking me dinner tomorrow so food bills should be lower than normal lol

I'm just going to try and spend the evening avoiding all forms and sign of football. What do you think my chances are?
