No NSD for me today as Friday is 'visit the car boot, lots of cuppas with friends, and buy weekly shop' day. Also paid the deposit on kennels booking and bought train tickets for our holiday so things moving on that front
I have caught up on the thread so I am up-to-date on our days out - they sell lovely bright red tracksuits at our car boot - would that be OK for back alleys, with white trainers and handbag of course?
Stonehenge is easy - I still have lots of my hippy gear at the back of the wardrobe - but just what do you wear for Wombledon? Is it ultra smart or ultra sporty? Advice please anyone
P.S. our neighbour came back home tea-time yesterday, and he bumped into my hubbie today only saying 'Oh hi Al*n cold today isn't it?' Not a single word about his ladyfriend or the dogs. You don't do these things for thanks, but an acknowledgement would be nice :mad:Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Hippy gear for Stonehenge is perfect. For Wobbledon I'm thinking summer frock (that word again!), jacket and sunhat (doubling as rainhat for the inevitable downpour), that should cover it, I think.

So that is at least a couple of nights camping to think about as well. If we sling a few hammocks between the stones we should have it sorted, I think. We could also sling a washing line between some of the stones so we can rinse out our unmentionables.pure_dead_dopey wrote: »Ok I'm in the groove for Stonehenge, have never been, but read a book about it being built (can't really remember who wrote it but it was good) so looking forward to the educational aspects, may do a powerpoint on why those stones are still up there and how they got there!
Hubert is desperate to come, so may just bring him down, aliens are coming of course, although they can't see what all the fuss is about as its the airport they landed at initially. Nargle are you sure we can hang our smalls, and what about plugging in the straightners? It might not be a bad idea if someone remembers a shovel bearing in mind the last outings main problem............... Could we have a different variety of brownies please, perhaps something a little less technicoloured?? but they were delicious!
We can definitely hang our smalls up between the stones - I have the magic passes. We can pass Hubert and the aliens off as druids, and we can hide the poo behind the biggest stone, no one will notice until we've left. If the worst happens, we can shovel the poo into katenut's tardis (it's big enough!)...
Yes Im up for Stonehenge - it's my birthday on the 19th so I'll bring leftovers ( very MSE :money:) Im planning on driving down in a psychedelic VW caravanette so if you fancy a lift give me a shout! I've got my diaphanous frock all ready and have polished up my sandals.
I know we've got a lot of social activities (?) ATM, but does anyone fancy men's final day at Wimbledon? With our inimitable style, I think we could make it a memorable day for everyone:rotfl: Can you imagine BMF with men in shorts? We'd need to chain her to something ! This the great thing about virtual days out , the world's your oyster and it doesnt cost a penny!
Definitely yes to Wobbledon, I think we could certainly give them a day to remember:rotfl:. Hmmmmmmm I don't think even a chain would stop BigMumma, maybe we could sit her in the umpire chair - birds eye view from there...
I think we're definitely sorted now for the next few weeks:j:jThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Hi lovely NSD gang :A
We seem to have lots of “outings” planned over the next few weeks - looking forward to them.:rotfl: Stonehenge should be the usual riot, we’re going to have to stop BigMumma from graffiti-ing the stones and Hubert from pooing all over them. Wobbledon finals day will be another challenge - as in keeping BigMumma from interfering with the shorts department - and I hate to think what she’ll get up to in BDINI’s back alleyway;);).....

Will try really hard to-day as had big spendy day yesterday. Have been up since the crack of dawn due to terrifically inconsiderate neighbours making whoopy with an industrial lawnmower on the bit of grass just outside our bedroom window at 6.30am!!!! Lucky I haven't been arrested for murder so far.
Here am I on a nice sunny day in summer doing a rain dance so it pours on them and they'll have to go in and give up!!!!
aaaarrrrgh
Could the dragon/tardis/camel(was there a camel?) anything tow a big cloud to a precise location????More than Two Years in

I can ask my Heffalump to give the cloud a big blow with his trunk... fingers crossed it might work!!solventsoon wrote: »Hi lovely NSD gang :A[/FONT]

Am concerned about the state of my (dirty) mind Spoon, the picture that came to mind when you mentioned Bigmumma in my back alley is definitely not for sharing!! :rotfl::rotfl:
Off for a little spend now, saw a handbag yesterday, in exactly the style i've been after for ages, didn't buy it straight away tho cos the new MSE me had to make sure i had enough spare cash to pay for it & Yay i have :j so off to the shops i head!! Think this is a first for me, cos normally i wouldn't have thought twice about sticking it on my credit card, so don't mind losing my NSD cos i'm so proud of the fact that i'm actually thinking about it now!! :AFebruary NSD challenge 5/150 -
