Evening everyone, Jinty sorry to hear about the virus on your PC, I so hate it when that happens, any idea how you got it? Hope you haven't lost too much stuff. I back up as often as I can as I have so much stuff on my PC that I can't lose it or work doesn't get done. Boultdj I didn't realise you were in Derbyshire, snap, although we got no rain in my part and my washing got dry sorry! Chompy my dragon is looking forward to Stonehenge, if it rains he'll help dry the smalls. Not sure I can make Wombledon though on the grounds that sport brings me out in hives, unless it's ice hockey and I get to sit in the sin bin
Yesterday was another NSD taking me to 9, but today wasn't, unfortunately like PDD we went out to escape our loud neighbours who took their huge TV out into the garden and brought the whole loud mouth family around to watch the match. I've got nothing against anyone watching the footie but I couldn't have my windows open on such a lovely day because of their racket and they're still in the garden drunk as skunks and yawping and the dog is barking to. No chance of any sleep for hours yet, why are people so inconsiderate?! My commiserations PDD, I totally sympathise, next match we'll rain dance together, maybe there's strength in numbers?
Tomorrow will be a spend day but I'm hoping that Monday - Wednesday won't be, although I'm out setting up the display at the garden show for the charity I help with on Tuesday, it'll be an NSD if I remember to make my own lunch to take, will pick up supplies tomorrow. Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone, I'm off to stuff some cotton wool in my ears.
Herby x

Hi lovely NSD gang :A
Big hugs to anyone who is unfortunate enough to live near inconsiderate neighbours who make summer a complete nightmare. We have a family across the road who scream and shout all the time and have a permanently barking dog, but they pale into insignificance compared to some of the tales on here today. I just don’t understand why some people don’t give a monkeys **** about their neigbbours..:mad:
Sorry, that has nothing to do with NSDs, just needed to sympathise with pdd and herby

Morning all
Have been rather busy this last week - trying to get back to the point where going back to work after nearly 2 months off doesn't seem impossible. The doc has signed me off providing I work no more than 3 hours a day and no more than 10 mins standing per hour. Means I can't teach, it's impossible not to stand and walk around. so I'll be marking and dealing with the kids out on work experience. Only a week now before I go back, this time next week I'll be quaking in my boots lol
Jinty, try AVG anti virus, it's brill and free. All my friends in the IT world use it so it must be good. Also Advanced System Care helps sort out the problems virus' leave when they're gone. Both are easy to use and can be downloaded from CNET
Herby, can I be an honourary Derbyshire lass? My family lived in Wirksworth from the 1200s up until 1800s then moved to Derby where my granddad was born. Apparently there's a quarry up between Belper and Wirksworth which bears my family name... Darn why didn't I get the family dosh lol.
Doubt today will be a nsd. Going on a free farm day with my family and my oldest friends family but I bet they're selling eggs etc and I'll feel the need to buy. Still Tomorrow will be a nsd as I have to sit in and wait for my new 0% credit card which is going to help me clear the debt that I currently have.
Hope everyone has a lovely day today :kisses3:0 -

Hi everyone! :hello:
Happy Sunday! It's turning into a lovely morning here. Have been up since about 8am, had a gorgeous brekkie of scrambled eggs with smoked salmon - yummy!!! Enjoying a nice cup of tea now as I cruise the forums
Sold another item on Ebay! Bathroom scales, so that's another £12 in the pot! Pleased with that. Today IS going to be an NSD for me. I have a day of arts and crafts and cooking planned :T I have to get some sketches done for a pressie, make another card and make loads of meals for this week, as well as some baking (think I'm going to make chocolate brownies, peanut biscuits and traybakes) Hubby will be v happy when he gets home from his smelly boys' weekend :A I had a lovely (non-smelly) girly night in with BF, we had movies to watch but we were so busy chatting that we forgot to watch them! :rotfl:
Also wanted to say - how amazingly are all of you doing on your NSDs - NSD no.10 for you Spoon - that is FAB!!
Herby, BigMumma, TMVen and 3Dogs: you guys have all hit 9 NSDs, that is just awesome! Feeling motivated now!!
Jinty: I hope you didn't lose too much from your pooter, I think that's the worst part of computers breaking down, losing photos, etc. Grrrr.
Have a good day, MSEs!!
