Sorry peeps,
I sounded like a stroppy moo in my last post thanks to distinct lack of food in my tummy and a very [STRIKE]annoying[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]irritating[/STRIKE] *ahem* caring bro yapping in my lughole. *big sigh* right moan over let's do this!
TMVen, don't worry i didn't think you were laughing at me, I think my post could have done with smiles in it because clearly a stroppy moo came across!! Sorry again!
Spoon - that looks a bit like a contract I've been written into there!!!! Quite concerned what i have actually signed myself up for...although the idea of dancing animals and fruit still makes me laugh!:rotfl:
Hope you're right BDINI (on the it gets easier bit!) I'm going to do a spending diary though I need to find a notebook somewhere in the house as i think it defeats the purpose of the exercise if i buy one! Those that matter don't mind, and those that mind don't matter0 -
I would like to try for 15 NSDs in June!Free Films in 2011: Tangled, Chalet Girl, Never Say Never, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

) so had kept a spending [strike]diary[/strike] spreadsheet for the entire year.
(Still in both for 2010, though the latter is now the Frugal Living challenge)
I went back through that counting up my grocery NSDs for each month, and used that as a starting point for the NSD challenge - even though I'm also including spends on toiletries/cleaning and 'other' (eg. CDs, DVDs, clothes, household items). I'm still not including my regular (Direct Debit type) spends, but am considering doing so from July which will makes things tougher for me :eek:it showed me where i could have done things all on one day to let me have NSD's on other days
I reached my revised target for May on Saturday, and smashed it yesterday with an extra one....... so it didn't matter whether I spent or not today
As I knew I'd need milk tomorrow (which would lose me an NSD for June) I checked what else I was likely to need for the next week, and bought milk, bread, frozen veg, garlic bread, ham and potatoes on my way home from work tonight.
So I'm even further over my May GC target than I would have been, but should (subject to no dire emergencies such as DS dropping 2x4pt containers of milk in the next 24 hours) be able to have an NSD tomorrow (and hopefully every day right through to the weekend) which will be a nice start to June :TCheryl0 -

Hello,
A nice round 10 for me please. I know I will crack that in June, but it makes me feel more positive and like I'm achieving something, rather than if I set a high target and didn't meet it This debt busting is about achieving, there's no room for failure. Bring on the money, and down with the credit. I want to feel crisp ten pound notes in my hand again, and hear the tinkle of coins in my purse.
Good luck everyone.
