Tomorrow is a uni day so will take a packed lunch and hope for the best. Must try harder!

NSD number 6 for me today Spoon - we did pop out to friends and to look in at auction hall but did not spend

Wednesday and Thursday should be NSD's but may have to pop out for dog food as we have 2 unexpected 'lodgers'. We've had an exciting afternoon/evening. My neighbour is away in Scotland working and his ladyfriend was looking after his house and dogs. To cut a long story short, that includes a suicide attempt, paramedics, police, ambulance and breaking down a door to gain entry, we offered to look after his dogs until he can be contacted and comes home. Don't know if the dog food will last with our 3 Jack Russells and 2 very friendly Lapso Apsos - all 5 are getting on so far, luckily. We will have to wait and see what tonight and tomorrow brings!!!!

No NSD for me to-day, DS took off so had to buy bread and milk to replace what he'd eaten. Should save a fortune while he's away but do miss him already, who's a sad old dopey mummy then???

Oh no, pdd, don't be sad, it's natural to miss him.

Have a hug, hope it makes you feel a bit better.

Wow 3dogs! Hope everything works out ok with the neighbours ladyfriend and your two unexpected 'lodgers'. (if its only dog food tomorrow (today?) then dont count it....its a mercy mission after all ;) )

Monday/Tuesday were both LSD's, tomorrow (today) will be too but I had a nice surprise in the post today which has more than made up for them.

Back in January I broke my ankle walking to work and its still not healed fully. Whilst I have been off work I have also been told that I am to be made redundant at the end of August due to the company relocating 100+ miles away. Anyway, I remembered I had mortgage protection insurance so I rang them a couple of weeks ago to confirm that I would be covered in the event of redundancy. During the conversation with their (lovely and very helpful) customer service assistant I mentioned I was currently signed off work with a broken ankle. To my surprise he advised me that the policy also included accident cover....fast forward to today and I've received a pay out of £525.00 with another £175 to be paid by the end of June (I go back to work on 28 June). I am well chuffed! (Needless to say the money is earmarked to be paid off the credit card in an attempt to reduce the balance before I'm made redundant) :)

Had my first proper meal since Sunday evening about 3 hours ago, and about an hour later began to think I was heading back to where I was in the early hours of Monday morning.......

Still feel like my stomach is complaining about the intake of food, so will have to wait and see how things go tonight I suppose :(

But if I do get bad again, there's no way I'm going to manage a run out to the storage place tomorrow - so I've risked doing one tonight. Still have a few more boxes packed for going, but my poor little car wasn't going to take to the lot in one trip :o At least I can now move in the kitchen, and just about see my bed for tonight good2.gif

Oh no, Cheryl, really hope you feel better soon..

Well done on the decluttering, sounds as though you've made a lot of progress today

    And hello to everyone else:
mz_grim: glad you had a good weekend, especially day out with OH on Sunday, that sounds good. Ooh, another one knitting - maybe we should start a knitting support group as well;). Fingers crossed for NSD no 4 for you today

Herby: so glad you’ve had a better day today, you sound much brighter.:T It does come in waves, you can be perfectly OK one minute and then a little thought can pop into your head which starts you off again (at least, that’s what happened to me). Be kind to yourself, it will take time to heal but you’ll get there and you have lots of lovely memories to look back on.:)
Fingers crossed for an NSD for you today (and hope you got the housework done).
jwil: :(oh dear about having to eat out tonight, hope it wasn’t too expensive. Hope tomorrow’s work trip goes well. Yes, you will get there - like the positive attitude:)

BDINI: well done for being organised for lunches next week as well - that’s definitely the way to gather up lots of NSDs.:T
Hope the training day goes OK tomorrow:)
moneypenny2k: :mad:grrrr to the parcel today, what a pain. Sorry you were feeling fed up, hope the lunch cheered you up a bit and that you’re OK again now?:)
Dorastar: well if you’ve got to buy a lovely top, then you’ve just got to buy it I guess (bit like nicca and her shoes:rotfl:..). Hope you enjoy wearing it. :)
Mythi: yay.:j.. what a brilliant surprise today - that’s great - and what a lovely customer service person to volunteer that information otherwise you’d never have known about it.
Sorry to hear about the redundancy though, that’s not good, but at least you’ll have 2 months breathing space after you go back.

And I'm a very happy spoon today because I am now at no 7, yippeeeeeeeeeee:j:j. That's it for a couple of days now as I have to go shopping tomorrow and Thursday:(:(.. oh well, must be done I guess..

Off to update the front page now - well done everyone and see you all tomorrow.
