Today is another NSD for me, that takes me up to 8 - just 2 more to do, so will have to work hard to get there for the end of this month!

OH no, poor you, what have you managed to do? Being at the point where I'm hoping to get off my last crutch shortly I really empathise with you.

Jinty yes it's a blooming rip off. Sorry to hear about your friend though.

I'm home from work and it's not a no spend day as the shopping I was meant to do at the weekend got done today. Hopefully tomorrow will be another nsd. Fingers crossed 00020483.gif

Really am not going to be able to make it to 16 - away this weekend, need to get a few things tomorrow and out on Monday - but I'm so happy I'll manage 15 this month! Half the month as no spends! I've never seen the likes of it.

I'll be back for July for more of the same!

    Cheers guys!

I think my target may not quite be reached - spend today, hopefully NSD tomorrow, spend Saturday, hopefully NSD Sunday - but then car tax Monday, big payday shop Tuesday and end of month standing orders out Wednesday. Oh well, at least I have amassed 9 so far! Whatever my final total is, I will aim for the same number in July.

    13 for me today!! :j

Had a shock when i nipped to the local supermarket yesterday for a few bits that i needed (not wanted :D). The whole inside has been refitted & it's so long since i just popped up for something i didn't need that i hadn't even noticed it was happening!!!! Think that might have been the most powerful moment i've had since starting this challenge, as it proved to me how long it was since i shopped without a plan (which involves once a week in a bigger cheaper supermarket that's a bit further away), & how little i need to do it!! :T

Also worked out a plan to stop me buying rubbish... i didn't take a basket. It meant i could only carry in my hands what i needed, butter for cake baking & some milk, instead of chucking all manner of "bargains" in a basket :A Although i did give in to some fresh sweet chilli chicken kebabs that were whoopsied to 90p, but will make me 2 meals with some home made rice salad, so definitely worth the spend!!

Right essay over, off to plan this weekend shopping list :A
