Hopefully you'll get it sorted but you did say that you may have to take it back for fittings - most wedding dresses can go in OR out up to 2 dress sizes so maybe they were catering for that?

cant help with the dress but cold sores i can zorvorax and compeed coldsore patchs are the two things i swear by!

the cream your meant to use when you feel a tingle but i use it if i dont catch it in time and it reduces the pain and days by a bit :)

Had more nightmares about it last night and woke up with 3 whopping coldsores on my mouth from the stress and worry!

try getting lysine tablets (1000mg) from holland and barrett. i find taking them before coming up to a stressful time usually prevents me from getting cold sores (don't take them all the time though or it will stop working) or when i've just started getting cold sores they normally prevent it from getting too bad and cut short the time i have them.

even though it only says on the packet to take 1 a day if i have cold sores i take 3 a day just to be on the safe side. just take 1 a day coming up to a stressful time... i'll definitely be taking them on the run up to my wedding!

good luck on thursday, i'm sure everything will work out fine.

I swear by the lysine tablets, but when I get a coldsore on my eye lid I get zovirax tablex prescribed for me by my GP, they are excellent.

i'd say maybe 3 weeks before the wedding should be okay or if your feeling stressed before then just start taking them then.

fingers crossed that everything goes okay for you today.

    IT FITS!!!!!

It took them a while but it definitely fits!

They had to undo a side of the modesty panel, it was stitched on in slightly the wrong place meaning it wasnt coming over far enough. hope that makes sense.

They laced me into it, waited 15 minutes for everything to 'settle' and my internal organs to re-arrange themselves... haha and then tightened it up some more.... BUT it fits and it looks fantastic. The side seams were in the right place once it was done up tight enough and it felt really tight, but good tight.
My waist looks insanely small! I love it!

I've never been so relieved in my life! My poor mum felt a bit silly that she couldnt lace me up properly but the girls in the shop were so nice about it and said that this happens a lot and they'll show her and my BM's how to do it properly when i go for my fitting next year.

Thanks for all the lovely messages, you really are all stars!

I shall have a good nights sleep tonight, got me a bottle of red to celebrate! It's a school night, but i dont care!
