                    Hi ladies
Just need to vent..
I ordered my Maggie in November, collected it on saturday morning, paid the balance and brought it home.
My mum came round that evening and i tried it on.
It's waaay too small. im devastated. Even with the lacing done up on the tightest, its so tight it hurts my back and theres still a gap of skin down the side of the modesty panel.
Its a uk size 8 and it should be a uk size 10. Thats the size i tried on in the shop and the sales assistant agreed that it was the perfect size for me..... so why the hell have they ordered me a 8??!!!
I'm livid. They arent open until tomorrow morning, so i cant phone to tell them but im so worried that they'll say its my fault or something! I checked the sizes they wrote down for my measurements and they're a little out. I'm really scared that they'll say that ive put weight on since they measured me when if anything ive lost weight..

ah im soo sorry i dont know what to advise as im not experianced but if its too late for them to do anything it shouldnt take much for someone to put in a bigger modesty panel
on the measurements they took does it state size '10' or is it just measurementsI am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0

the bigger modesty panel wont help. the dress is so small the side seams arent down my sides, they're round the front a bit. looks ridiculous!
The have enough time to order me a new one, but im worried they'll refuse to.
it doesnt say a size it just has measurements. What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0

Can I ask why you paid for it and bought it home???
I thought you kept dresses at the shop till a few weeks before incase they need altering etc.:heart2: 'Tied the Knot' Saturday 9th October 2010 :heart2::blushing: Member of Diet Club October 2010 Brides and Grooms :blushing:Starting Weight: 14 stone 10.8lbsCurrent Weight: 13 stone 2lbsTotal loss: 21.8lbs :j0

They said I had to pay the balance then.
And i could either leave it in storage there or bring it home and take it back for fittings.
I didnt want to leave it there as you often hear of shops going bust and brides not getting the dresses they've paid for etcWhat matters most is how well you walk through the fire0

This happened to me at my first wedding, I ordered a UK10 but they ordered a US10 (which is a UK14) so miles too big, and they tried the 'you've lost weight' rubbish but I did get my money back after a bit of an arguement. I stuck with the 'not fit for purpose' line and also that the measurement were taken by 'a professional and the goods were ordered on the advice of that professional' I will try and find the proper legalise for you!:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0
