ay up Bob. Just checking.
Have just had a weekend in ( nearly) Wales. Stayed at a cottage between Ross-on-Wye and Abergavenny, lovely......and great pub across the road, crawling distance if you're quick enough!
Took the chance to walk Pen-y-Fan ( 3,000 ft 'ish)....the last bit to the summit is not so much of a walk as a climb, but at least the rocks were big enough to sit on and draw breath......and maybe it wasn't the best idea to do it in 30 degrees of heat! Up and down 2,500 feet vertically from the Car Park and about 7 miles distance in 4 hours so I'm quite pleased with myself:D...been out yet?

ahh the secrets out...bobs coming to see me! Suspect she will be shoe horned in but know she will manage fine here..were all a bit ad hoc lol! Ooo well done pepe - Bob do you want to have a bash at it? Couldnt promise I wouldnt be a grump by the end so maybe next time you come would be better?! Can understand your lack of enthusiasm re anniversary as would be a tad false i suspect? In addition money could be spent better elsewhere and you can always celebrate being married/couple when there is real cause for celebration rather than due to external influences ...

Hmm- Are the Brecon beacons anywhere near Poole? Although i am always happy for a visit to South Coast Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
