Here too - phew - missed you in the throng of the tissues and the lemsips.

Happy belated shiny new diary :)

Chained to a bed (unwell - nothing smutty!) so able to finally catch up with lots of MSE :)

Waves hello - darwin says hi :)

Sorry you have been chained to the bed Fay:o The smutometers will be on high alert at that one:eek::rotfl:

Say hi to the lovely Darwin, hope he has not broken down too much. :D

  • Afternoon folks- been a funny old week for me this week.

Been in hospital today and had a biopsy on some nodules that were on my bowel. All looking good according to the consultant...well as much as anything can look good from that end:o:eek:
Had to take stuff last night which was not so good:cool: But at least it wasn't picolax :cool::cool:
Spent all afternoon asleep so that was good and feel fine now:D

A couple of things with work. The company have reduced my timetable- some of it is because pupils have now left- understandable after GCSE's and some of it is because i am not a permanent staff member. I have worked hard and feel a bit shafted( excuse pun after today) I am on a funny contract as with agencies there really isn't an obligation on either side..so will be paying them the same compliment back.

So i have accepted a contract with a school- which will be less money- but full rate( if that makes sense) less hassle with driving everywhere and a lot of other things to come as well. So i think it may be a gamble that will pay off in the long run. I hope so.

That's about it for today. Just relieved to be on the other side of treatment :) Thinking of Taxi today. x

Hi Bob, hope everything's okay with your innards (as well as hubby).

Accepting the contract with the school doesn't sound like a gamble. Just ensuring you know where you are.

Sorry to hear the agency treated you that way - i wouldn't shaft you like that.

I almost had a moment of guilt with the school- as i was contracted to do some agency work in there..and they approached me on the back of that. I did pass it over originally and they bid for it but were too expensive. So the Senco asked me out right and after this week i said yes:cool:
I am grateful for the work i have had, so will be smiling and saying ta ta:D

Onwards and upwards as they say. I feel much brighter today but a bit sore.

Just sore but feeling very refreshed today and looking forward to putting it all behind me.

Yes public cuts do have a knock on effect-hopefully work will pick up, and i have to look after me and mine at the end of the day. So needs must when the devil vomits..i think i may have diarised that one somewhere:D:rotfl:

I tried to get on here last night to say hello to you- but for some reason couldn't log on. So will nip over to yours now.:D
