New orthotics sorted so the shoe hunt can begin sometime soon - oh I can't wait.

I've done some of the planting I wanted to in the garden but it's a bit hot out there now so I will go up and do the bathroom in a minute.

Vanilla I love it when babies take huge steps in their devlopment, will it be safe for him to potter around outside this summer?

:T Let me know when he starts to do training courses for less supportive OHs.
I shall be meeting up with some of the rest of my tutorial group this evening for - get this -
A Champagne Picnic by the Thames!!!!

Sounds lovely - hope you have a great time.

I've done the equivalent of 3 HHCs in the kitchen, DR of doom and LR. Not sure about the impact, though...:( And why is it already 1pm, when I was supposed to have done the upstairs by now, as well? I really don't know what happens to time - maybe it goes the same way as the confused smilie, which I could really do with right now.

Ok, food, then get washed and dressed and I'll see what else I can do before DS2's appointment. There are bags lined up by the front door, ready to leave the house for the charity shop/recycling etc. Must remember to take those.
  • Thames or Isis??

Definitely the Thames - I'm not posh enough for the Isis!

ETA- I now have my labcoat and safety specs! Woo Hoo!

DH asked me to draw up a division of labour list for the house work :):A and is insisting on doing school runs next week so if I end up full time they are used to the change. Today we are clearing junk mountain from the patio to the tip. Two runs should clear the lot - this has only been on the list since November so really pleased. Next I am going to move the limestone mountian so he can get to his forge - if he can be smithing stuff then he can be building up stock which opens up more options for everyone :D.
Can you have him cloned please? You'd make a fortune...

I've just spoken to a friend and it looks as if her daughter will be doing my cleaning and ironing over the summer... one less thing to worry about :D. I know its not ideal, but at least it means she's earning rather than running up more student debt than she needs to...

    have a lovely time jojo

    OK... lunch, then work :o

    Hello all.

Lovely day again – we were going to have egg'n'chips for dins tonight, but it's been transmuted into egg salad instead!;)

Kezlou yeah, black sheep is right! I've had NO contact with any of my biological family for eight years; they don't even know where I live – I got the Judge's permission to keep my address secret when I divorced KH. There's no kids involved in my case – the family dies out when I pop me clogs. Must be awful for you to see your poor nieces so unhappy. Wish there was something I could say to make it better for you. (((HUG)))

Rach you're not a fraud. If your BP is low right now, then you need a time-out. Listen to your body and take it easy. It'll do you and your “passenger” good, I'm sure.

Toots have a lovely break at the retreat; make sure to gather up as many spoons as you can while you're there. I did notice you weren't posting, but in my typical, lupus-addled way I thought you were already on retreat. *rolleyes*

Vanilla ooh, well done Rhys on taking his first unaided steps. Am I right in thinking that parents spend the first year or so teaching their children to walk and talk, and spend the next fifteen telling them to sit down and shut up?:D

Prettypennies I'd be sending the waste/recycling dept at the council a very stiff email, if that was me.

Pollybear you're doing the right thing for your doggie, I reckon. It's not just a question of cost, it's putting her through unnecessary distress of further tests. If she seems OK for now, I'd let her be.:o

I've put a coat of beeswax polish on the spare room door; as it's where we tend to hang wet coats to dry before putting away (dog-walking, anyone?):D It needs a while for the polish to soak in. That's my excuse for a sit-down to catch up with Fred, anyway....

I just hope it stays nice for the weekend. We can't go anywhere much, because starting tonight, Mr LW's on 24-hour On Call for the next week; but there's a LOT of work wants doing in the garden, and I can only go out the front if Mr LW's there with me.

Right, time to get back to the grindstone..... ((((HUGS)))) posi-vibes and get-well wishes everywhere they're needed.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Back from shopping and just decluttered a cheese and onion crusty roll :D.

The glass bin men turned up just as I was going out. They used the excuse that one of the neighbour's car had been blocking the road so they couldn't get the van up. Interesting how my OH managed to get his removal van past the offending vehicle this morning though. At least they have emptied it now and I can start filling it up again .
Right quick cuppa then I am going to peg my bedding out, strip the twins bed and tackle my hanging basket.
Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j

I have decluttered my lunch, sat here for a while deciding NOT to follow today's list. Instead I was super organised and have printed out all confirmation emails and vouchers for our holiday. We don't go for 6 weeks but it allowed me to check what we still need to book, everything is now in a file.

Leaving to meet OH in 50 minutes. Was hoping to get some stuff done but I have very little energy so am waiting for WM to finish so I can hang the last load of towels out. It is its final cycle as we have a new one being delivered tomorrow before this one finally dies.

Haven't had a chance to catch up today, my utility has had the third coat and is dry, all moved back in again.:D Looks lovely and a lot bigger.

Went to cook lunch and the splash back wouldn't go up because of the new units, so kitchen man called and is coming back tonight to move them over abit. Sparky called and he's coming at 5/6 so all go here.:rotfl:

Kitchen now very tidy, loads thrown out. WM now back on and will be all weekend.

Toots thanks hun, it seems to be coming together now. I hope your taking it easy...

Right soon time for school run and i MUST get another bottle of lucozade.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Fence paint is bought, at Focus 3 for 2 on offer, so got 6 cans, should have been £54.54, but with offer only £36.36, then used old fogy card and got another 10% off £32.72, and paid with Amex, so get in effect 1% cash back £32.39, so toal of £22.14 saved!! Had to buy ronseal, but it should do what it says on the can!!

    Lunch decluttered.

2 items about to sell on ebay.

Photos taken for free listing day

It says it is going to chuck it down on Milton Kenyes on Sunday, so might not be car booting. If I don't go then it will give me more time for ebay listing!!
