I slept much better knowing I didn't have to rush up, though DH then set the alarm for 7.30 but didn't get up 'til 8.15  I have got up, had breakfast and phone work, done a quick email and put out of office on and now I might go back for a sleep. Plan for today is not much at all, maybe a wander up the high st later and something in the fridge whiffs!

Vomiting child is still vomitingHe is keeping fluids down and you think he's finally over it and then he'll just vomit, everywhere, all over again. He's not dehydrated, he is subdued and lethargic. Poor little mite
Not getting very far with the flying this week. There are four loads of washing on the line and one in the machine though, not because of vomiting child, but darling eldest is back from four days at PGL with mount washmore. Never rains eh?!

Grrrr.. I have just found my recycling bin abandoned in the middle of the street. My OH put it in front of the gate this morning. I presume the recycling wagon has been round and decided it is too heavy to lift and just dumped it in the middle of the road still full. They don't come for another month now so I am going to have to empty half of it and take it to the recycling bank instead.Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0

prettypennies - phone the council but you might need to hassle to be put through to the waste team rather than just the call centre! If that doesn't work phone your councillor. I had loads of probs with similar things til the councillor got involved....
in fact have just had email from said councillor following up on a members' enquiry I asked him to raise because my council won't help with reusable nappies! He has followed it up with the officer and now is following up with the lead member! this is what democracy is about!!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
