Hugs to Hex and JoJo what stressful situations for you both
LL lovely to see you posting, sorry to hear you are having a tough time. I shall be thinking of yo on Friday at your MRI and thanks for letting us know Diva is ok, please pass on my thoughts.

We did ok even if I say so myselfWe did 2 hours on the ROD  W and I moved lots of stuff around into new homes. There is some space to work properly in the ROD now so that I can really get on with it.
One thing advertised and collected on freecycle, Dad has the wardrobe advertised on his ID (as we were at their house at the time!) so hopefully that will be gone in the next couple of days.
All being well W and I are off out today, I was thinking of Thomasland but Mum thought he might like Crich, which is closer and cheaper :money: plus she will come with us there.
Better get some brekkie and see if Master W is going to wake up this morning!Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -

Morning lovelies!
Gosh there's lots of you with lots going on, hope everything turns out ok and huge hugs all round xxx
toots have a wonderful retreat, the place looks fabulous xx
LL & Diva *mwah*
Think it's gonna be a nice day today, just hung 2 loads of washing out that I did yesterday and was too tight to put in the TD, I just knew there would be a good drying day at some pointAs for the rest of the house it's ok but needs to be flown in this week, we've been busy digging out the foundation for my new shed, and then laying the concrete base (10 mixes) started putting it together at 11pm last night - as you do - will hopefully be finished this avo (OH's work permitting) or tomorrow I'm not really fussed.
First job has just cancelled for today so will be going to my second 3 hr one early, so will have an early finish :j forgot to take the Beef steak out to defrost so gawd knows what we're having for tea, something wonderfully culinary like beans on toast no doubt*tuts* I wish I could afford a live in Chef.
Need to finish my broo then get ready for work
laters lovely people :hello: xx0 -
Just getting going this morning, dh has made me a cup of tea and I need to do an online shop.
MsGnomey ~ So glad you were there for your sister ( think it was your sister, my brain is not in gear yet...need more tea!). Two of my sons are on the autistic spectrum, youngest has diagnosed high functioning autism, middle one has a diagnosis of the very amusingly named DAMP syndrome...which I think means we aren't sure but it's something a bit autistic!
I guess this ramble is to say, there isn't a lot of support out there for the parents of autistic children and schools vary enormously in how much they are willing or able to help, so I'm glad she has got you.0 -
Went to put my recycling box out as soon as I was dressed and realised that the neighbours' boxes were empty - then realised I could hear the truck round the corner -cue pick up box and set off.
Fortunately it wasn't too heavy and they took it :j
So started the day with more exercise than I intended :rotfl: (I'm not that disorganised, but they have changed our pick-up day and must be doing a different route as they never used to be this early)
toots - that looks a lovely place - hope you enjoy the rest.
LL & Diva - hugs and coping vibes
Hex & Jojo - lots of strength vibes
Sun back again so the house can wait0 -
All being well W and I are off out today, I was thinking of Thomasland but Mum thought he might like Crich, which is closer and cheaper :money: plus she will come with us there.!
We went last month to Crich tram museum and it was lovely, a really peaceful, gentle day out that 5yo train loving DS2 adored. The ticket lasts a year so even more :money:. We enjoyed Thomasland and have been a few times (clubcard) but I just asked DS2 and he would rather go to Crich. HTH
Thanks for all the support and good wishes - much appreciated.
Mrs B hope you had a good birthday yesterday
Lady L - will be thinking of you on Friday
Sexymouse - hope the reception place is just what you want
JoJo -we had similar problems with SS1, things have got better since his mum gave up and let him come to us - the change seems to have helped with the issues
Kazw - I miss 'little' rides like that. If DH does end up on garden leave then we could at least play on the VFR whilst the boys are at school although my leathers are far too big now.
Need to get dressed an get on - MIL due on Sunday for two nights. WM is on, I bought some pegs yesterdaynow I know just how much the TD costs.

Morning all,
Hugs to Jo jo that sounds like an awful situation to be in.
Toots that place looks amazing, i'm sure you'll have a very relaxing time.
Big hugs to ladyL, i'm sorry the results weren't as you hoped.
I'm not doing too well this week. i think it's a combination of me lazing around in my pj's for most of the morning and hardly being in the house. I should be able to get a fair bit done today. The wm is on, it didn't go on yesterday due to it pouring with rain all day.
