Waved eldest off this morning, she's sailing to shetland, so very proud.:D
Feels nice to say that, we've been through the mill with our DD1 Jojo....I understand more than you'll know you're bewilderment and frustration re your daughter at the mo.
One of the hardest, but most important and essential, parenting jobs we have is to know when to draw the line re behaviour with our children. Its our job to give them a message that certain behaviours are unacceptable and unsustainable and that they will not be tolerated or accepted as 'the norm'...
Whilst the decision to 'let go' of your daughter is extremely difficult Jojo, she'll understand from her experiences very soon that her 'absent' parent will not keep these promises re the lump sum money (they never do) and that the person (you) who has done the mind numbingly boring stuff...breakfast/dinner/tea/washing/cooking/cleaning...day in day out for infinite years has done so because its this that gives grounding and routine for her development.
She won't get it yet, but she will eventually....expect to see her sooner rather than later when the reality kicks in on some of her decision making re college.
Flying...erm...I done some stuff, DW, WM, off to work then 2 days off yipppppeeeee...

Hugs for that, you're not alone with KH problems.Took BB to the vets today. She fretted in the waiting room and then had to be literally dragged across the floor into the consulting room (as soon as she realised where we were going, she dropped into a full blown belly lie down!).
And did she try to get throught the tiny crack underneath the door, too??
Toots, Lady Liberty and Diva hugs.
Also hugs for carlsberggal.
Is the Julie on FB Juliejim??
