Greenbee hope you feel better soon, hugs.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much.But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
morning all
i am off sick today, just exhausted and had another slight funny almost-faint in the opera last night. Plan is feet up, coffee with friend, M&S for fresh tuna for dinner and a bit of cleaning so dh can hoover tonight. we have a flat inspection tomorrow. But I won't be going far or doing much. might also see if I can get my eyebrows done when I'm up the high st.
I did manage a decent nights sleep last night, and even to share the main bed with dh the whole nightMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Good morning.
So far I've slept late, caught up with the thread and made drinks for DS2 and myself. Breakfast and another cuppa to follow in a minute. Why DH and DS1 couldn't at least get him his milk, I don't know...:mad: Well done to those of you who've been much more productive than me already, which is probably everyone.
It's looking grey and miserable here, too, and we have heavy rain forecast for later, so it looks like the TD will be busy. Not the best day to sort the playhouse, then. Never mind, there's plenty to do in the house, anyway.
I'll have another paracetamol with my breakfast and will go for QHCs with regular breaks to start with. I hate being ill in the holidays, but at least it means that I don't have to struggle at work with this.
I'll see you in a bit. x0 -
hugs sexymouse - I do remember the stresses!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0

You weren't the only one we slept late to only woke up because my aunt rang, a good sleep does you wonders!! Still time to plod on.Check on the heating board, but no, generally overflow pipes don't have downpipes. I don't actually have an overflow from my hot water system although I guess it would back up into the header tank in the roof and over flow that way... I suggest that the first thing you do is switch off the heating/hot water so that you aren't heating yet more water to pour out there, and then check the valve as it may be stuck. And then get a professional in to fix it!
I've been feeling slightly peculiar since yesterday evening... I think it might be labyrinthitis as I'm feeling slightly unbalanced (physically, not mentally before any of you say anything). I hoping it's because I'm tired, but I really don't have time for it! It does, however, mean I'm not risking driving into the office...
Thanks for that Greenbee I do hope you are feeling better soon hun take care and look after yourself x:jmember of the thrifty gifty 2011 :j0 -

Hello again everyone, thanks for the welcomes and to the organisers for todays list. There are some things on there I have been meaning to do for a while now, so will be good to get them crossed off.
It's raining here as well, which is great for the plants I planted out yesterday, saves me a job watering, and means I won't be distracted by gardening jobs (other than a bit of indoor seed sowing:)).
I am a little worried I may be coming down with something as I am actually looking forward to trying todays list.
So far I have:
made bed;
decluttered some breakfast, OJ and tea;
updated my SoA and done June's spreadsheet/budget, so can cross that off yesterdays list;
charged and updated my ipod ready for today.
Now, off to get the dusters out...0 -
Managed to get some bits done. DS1 and I made apricot flapjack which the children have now decided they don't like :roll:.
