    Thanks, here's hoping!
I'm trying to decide what to do about my mammouth Mint card balance... try and go down the unenforceable route, or keep on paying what I'm paying for the next ten years or so. If I don't get a job, I'm going to have to reduce my payments right down which will wreck my credit rating, so it might be worth while looking at unenforceability. A Debt relief order was suggested, but as I've paid into a pension I can't get one of those. Decisions decisions!!

I would definately look at unenforceability then Annie as you might get defaulted anyway! I am going to go down this route with my HSBC loan :)

I have my fingers crossed that you get a call about the job today :j

No job news yet, so I'm thinking that it's not going to happen. Never mind, I've seen another one advertised today so I can concentrte on getting the application form done for that, so that I've at least got something else to pin my hopes on.
I've been doing ok on the spends - £1.45 yesterday on a pint of milk and a diet coke. Today I've spoent about £5.40 on bread, a half price melon, 2 blocks of cheese (bogof) some fizzy water and orange juice and some custard slices. I spent the morning building my new bed and by lunchtime was sattered and starving so got some nice bits. I've got one of the blocks of cheese in the freezer so that should last a while.
I'm now going to oogle Rafael Nadal for a while before I go and collect DS from the childminders. What a gorgeous man!

Sorry to hear you haven't heard about the job yet Annie, have you tried calling them at all? They might be able to at least give you feedback! Best of luck with the next application...at least you are getting your RN tennis fix ;)

I haven't been around much the last couple of days, been feeling a bit sorry for myself and down in the dumps. I'm really trying to keep my chin up and look on the positive side but have been struggling a bit. Still, the sun's shining today so I'm going to try and steal some of the sunshine for my mood! I've got a list of things to do including taking some clothes back to Primark and fill in an application form... my dream job has been advertised so I need to make sure I do a really good job n the form.
I nearly had a NS day yesterday, I only spent £1.20 on a drink as DS's football presentation, which was a really nice evening. I spent a bit at the weekend, on a grocery shop and a couple of bottles of wine. I still haven't heard about my income support, whether they've managed to sort out the problem and pay me what I'm entitled to, so perhaps I'll give them a ring to see what I can find out.
No news on the other job - I think I'll have to take that as a rejection. Still, onwards and upwards....!!

Keep your chin up the right thing will come along, I also think employers sometimes take ages to make up their minds so dont give up hope yet.

Try not to worry Annie, we all go through periods of feeling sorry for ourselves, we wouldn't be DFW if we didn't!

The right job will come along when you least expect it and the sun will keep shining for you until it does :D

Aw, thanks for your kind messages, I'm feeling a bit better today - after being brought to tears again yesterday by the income support people, who are refusing to listen to what I'm saying and still won't pay me what they should. It's incredibly frustrating, but I've now written a letter to them explaining the situation in language that they *should* understand, so I might start getting somewhere next week...??!
I took some things back to the shops yesterday, I hadn't actually realised how much, but it added up to about £45 which was nice. I could only find a place to park in the most expensive place in town, which cost me £4, a total rip off, but I came home in profit so it wasn't too bad!

Nothing much planned for today, other than filling in the application for the job I've got my heart set on! I've seen another one which is very similar, but would mean relocating to Devon which is a huge dilemma for me.. my family are all there so it would be really nice to live near them, and Devon's gorgeous, it's just that I'd have to move DS again - we only moved here 2 years ago from the South East, and he's really settled and happy here. I'm approaching it at the moment with the attitute that 'what will be will be', applying for both jobs and if I get the one here, great, if not and I get the other one, we'll have to move.. letting fate decide if you like!!
I think I need to go and see the CAB at some point for some help with my repayments etc while I'm out of work because I'm paniking about all that too.
Maybe I should get myself some Rescue Remedy...........!!
