Really wish they would announce handset costs.

My contract ends in 2 days, Debating whether to go to simplicity now or wait until they announce handset costs on 18/24 month contracts.

Not really fussed about them doing away with unlimited data download limits as I have only used 52mb on my current usage.

Dustrystar, I agree with Killer - go for option c; if you can't afford it, don't use the credit card. I'm only going to use the tesco card for the sake of the internet purchase and will transfer the funds onto the card the same day. An iPhone is expensive enough without adding interest!!!

Thanks for the advice guys, I was planning on applying for a 0% card then paying it off in full in august. Although I really don't need anymore credit and the chances of me cancelling the card once I've paid it off are not likely :o.

I think I need to see what price options are out first. In an ideal world the PAYG won't be too outrageous! :rotfl:

Maybe I need to flutter my eyelashes at OH in the hope of an early b'day pressie. :)
  • haha not a bad idea dusty, though I imagine it would take more than the eyelashes for that much hahaha :p

  • If I can't afford one (still in contract with 02 with normal tariff and blackberry bolt on till end sept) I am going to flutter my eyelashes at my OH in the hope that if he is able to get the iphone4 he will give (or lend until I can get an iphone4) me his 3gs 32gb, however, somehow I think you are right fluttering eyelashes might not be sufficient for iphones.

No harm in trying!! If that doesn't work, threaten the withdrawal of "bedroom favours" and see if that helps!!

Oscar, being the positive thinking guy I am I'd say the best approach would be to offer more in the bedroom, not threaten with less ;):p

Combine the two: No bedroom favours until the phone is provided, but additional favours thereafter. Perhaps a "favours cheque book" would work - 1 iPhone = 25 dirty cheques......

Expecting prices will be announced tomorrow
  • I must admit, I did it the easy way:

"I have a birthday with a '0' in it this year, so I'm having an iPhone instead of a mid-life crisis". Mrs Grouch thought it was a worthy trade off.
