Just asked my dad whether mobile phones are covered & he said he's not sure. It is a bit late in the day to be asking though.
Would it likely specify "mobile phones" or would it likely come under some other category?0 -

As i live at home currently, would i be covered as any insurance my parents may or may not have would obviously be in their name.
My g/f also lives with us, so would she be covered as her surname is different, yet she still lives with us.
May be daft questions, but i don't know the answer, hence why i'm asking them
Hi there
Most insurance policies will cover three types of people:
1. The policyholder
2. The policyholder's wife/husband/civil partner/permanent partner
3. Any member of the policyholder's family living there permanently
If it were your house and the insurance in your name, g/f would fall into cat 2. As it is, some insurers could be awkward over covering her possessions. The best way to make sure is to get your parents to "declare" that she is there and that they consider her to be a "member of the family" when they ring up to ensure they have the away from home cover. There should be no charge for this, as all they need to do is make a note on their records. In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0 -
Ok, still looking at ways to raise money to buy this bl00dy thing.
I've found an old ipod nano 2nd gen in our cupboard. Where's the best place to try and flog it? Prices are really poor on ebay (although I'm not expecting lots for it) just wondered if anyone knew of any places to maybe trade it in towards an iphone4 (Apple store?).
Or any where online that deals in older Apple models? There must be load of people with old ipods etc in cupboards?
Any help gratefully received.0 -
