I ordered on a Monday night and it came on Wednesday.

Just ordered some more screen protectors as a friend was impressed with them from the same seller and they were ordered on Thursday night and came on Saturday.

Both the case and protector fit perfectly and also the black case hides the brownish colour if you don't have the black handset.

Do the stick-on screen protectors affect the operation of the touchscreen at all? (responsiveness, the way your finger slides over it, etc?)

The Zagg one certainly doesn't do so noticeably.

The screen protectors work fine and you wouldn't even thought they were there.

Just make sure you clean the screen first. I used a drop of window cleaner first to make sure it was perfectly clean and applied the protector quickly to ensure no dust got in.

Since screen protection is being discussed, I thought I would post this interesting link http://i.engadget.com/2010/06/11/htc-evo-4g-subjected-to-harrowing-barrage-of-scratch-tests-hold/ the video is about scratch testing the screen of the HTC evo 4g so may be applicable to the HTC desire as well. The resolution may be different but screen scratch protection may be the same but I certainly wouldn't do a test run!
