Have been using the case for a few days now and its fine. Perfect fit, all buttons available and the phone doesnt move in it.yaddayadda wrote: »Would be interested to know what you think of the clear case
With the crystal case attached it also fits in the black pouch. The end sticks out a bit but thats protected by the case and the screen is covered which is what I got it for anyway.
Happy with both of them.0 -

Want one that has an option to be clipped onto a belt or trousers or kept in the pocket without too much bulk, NEEDS to have adequate protection for the screen and need to be able to use the phone (TALK, CHARGE, MOUNT ON CAR CHARGER) without needing to pull it out of the cover.
There are enough posts online about cracked screens on the nexus 1 alsomanufactued by htc. Apparently capacitative touch screen are fragile and can crack, more so because HTC does not use gorilla glass like in some Motorola models like razr and Droid. The nexus 1 screen costs 250$ to repair from HTC!!!!!
So in view of that I plan on buying a cover that has adequate screen protection. People have cracked the nexus screen by keeping it in their back pockets.
Please recommend any covers that suit my requirements if you know of any such covers.
yes im after a case that does the same as what your after,0 -
i was keen on the zagg protector too but didnt order it after seeing the zagg on an iphone. i might buy the htc screen protector available from the htc website. right now havent yet bought a screen protector or case yet. i think i might buy a silicone protector as i guess it might take impacts like falling from my shirt pocket etc better with less of the impact transferred to the phone than a hard case. just a guess though.bubblesmoney :hello:0

            Hi...
If you want a quality case look no further than Noreve.
They're based in St Tropez. I bought a case for my old HTC from them and the quality and craftsmanship is the best I have ever seen for any mobile phone.
When I get my Desire I'll be buying this from them - http://www.noreve.com/brand/HTC/product/Housse_cuir_HTC_Desire_-_Google_Nexus_One_Tradition_C.html
...they aren't the cheapest at 37 Euro s plus P+P, but as I say, they are amazing quality.
tip - pay a bit more and upgrade to Exceptional Selection leather - well worth the extra 10 Euro s.

do you have a noreve case for your present phone? i had looked up on a noreve case a few years ago for my archos605 but didnt buy it then.
i looked at this video for the noreve case for the desire, it looks good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GW62gvf3AYU
but areas of concern are the top of the case where the top corners of the phone wont be protected in falls, also there seems to be a metal stud in the front of the case bang on top of the screen, but there is a inner leather layer no doubt behind the stud.
if anyone is having the noreve case for the desire, could you give some feedback please.bubblesmoney :hello:0 -
I don't have a Desire yet so don't have the Noreve case. I do have a HTC TyTn II with a Noreve case and I said in my earlier post, the quality is stunning.
The stud is only on the front BTW.

Had the invisible shield on for nearly a week now.
Thoughts?
A bit of a palaver to put on, lots of little bits that need to be wetted and then stuck to the various parts of the body. (The Desire's not mine!)
A lot of wetting of things involved.
One side piece did not stick so I am not fully covered, but not bothered.
It makes the back look very shiny.
No bubbles in it.
You do have to leave it to dry overnight.
The screen protector is superb, and I would recommend that alone to anyone.
It will not really protect your phone if you drop it, but for me the beauty is that the phone cannot now be scratched in a pocket, bag etc and it has not increased the size of the phone.
All in all I am happy with it.
Got it from 7dayshop.0 -
So many cases and still ot sure which 1 to get
ps are the screen protectors easy to fit on,0 -
I got the Xylo case yesterday, ordered the blue, but they said there were problems so they sent a clear one and a screen protector for the inconvenience. They will send me a blue one when problems have been resolved, free of charge.
This was ordered from Amazon, it's a tough silicon gel case that fits the Desire tightly and protects it quite well. There are cut-outs for the camera, mic, speaker and USB connectors, button are covered around edges. Screen protector was easy to put on, just need a little patience and take your time. Still managed to get 1 air bubble around a tiny bit of grit but you cannot tell there is one fitted.0 -
I got cheap 4 quid leatherpouch case off of amazon anditsbripliant. nice quality size and decent protection and appearances. I also buy 6 screen protectors for 99p off eBay which are brilliant. crystal clear and dead.simple to apply. not a single bubble also don't seem to scratch that easily. true mse!Back by no demand whatsoever.0
