no i didnt have a comformation to say it arrived i sent it to b(t)care@bt.com
Just mail you again0 -
Yes, you are stuck with BT Wholesale, but you can still get a better ISP. Even with LLU you are still dependent on Openreach for the local loop.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

but a new isp wont dig up the road will they (im with idnet)& they told me to contact BT who say nothing wrong with your line grrrrr0

I had the same problem.
I use O2 LLU. They initiated 2 visits by openreach engineers who eventually traced it to a damaged wire in the 4 pair run between my mastersocket and the terminal box outside. A simple pair swap cured the issue and i have had a silent 7mb all the way since
Is your incoming line on poles or ducted?Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -
hi its ducted0

If your ISP is IDNET, then it's them you should be chasing, not BT. If IDNET are telling you to contact BT, then they are fobbing you off. If BT is your landline provider and you report a fault, they will check you landline service is working and nothing else. If it's a line fault that only affects broadband, it's down to the ISP to get it fixed for you.0
