In a backward kind of way its nice to know you're not the only one in the world going through it - it definitely feels like it at times!!!
I sooo know what you mean - I had such a great relationship with my parents when i didnt live here, now i am a total teenager again! Strops, "you cant make me" comments, its bl00dy ridiculous! we are currently completely snowed in and i have been told i am not allowed out! i wouldnt go out anyway, but the fact i am not allowed to just makes me want to!! One good thing is I havent spent anything since Monday, however I havent been paid for 2nd job either! swings and roundabouts though :-)
I guess if we have the same debt free date, and same goal we can encourage other to get through it! although I do have a big blow out holiday in 27 days to Thailand (not that i am counting) and then after that I am hitting the debt payments :-)
Just keep thinking of how nice itll be to get your own keys to your own place, and you can shut the curtains on your own whenever you like!!! :-D
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:It'll be alright in the end. If its not alright? Then its not the end

Hi iwantahome  Thought I'd check out your diary and say hi.
Your situation sounds very similar to mine (well, apart from the living with the parents bit!). I've also had a conversation with the ex about pressies this year - we've agreed to buy but the limit is £15! We used to really splurge on each other, I love buying people presents, so its been hard. £15 is a pathetic amount!
Great progress you've made though - hopefully my debts will start coming down as quickly as yours.[STRIKE]Total debt 1.11.10 £23,446[/STRIKE]Save £6k in 2015 #129 £6121.66/£6000Save £6k in 2016 #39 £6000/£60000 -

Love the money tins idea for pressies
Luckily I don't have any neices or nephews (technically or otherwise!) to buy for, but I might have been stealing the idea if I did!
Yeah, this £15 budget is giving me a headache - had a list of about 6 things I was going to buy, but it would have quadrupled the budget and given the wrong impression (or maybe the right one - can't decide what statement I'm trying to make!). Have bought one thing already, its boring but she'll like it, just need a little extra to go with it that isn't soppy, isn't dull, isn't practical but is me :wall:[STRIKE]Total debt 1.11.10 £23,446[/STRIKE]Save £6k in 2015 #129 £6121.66/£6000Save £6k in 2016 #39 £6000/£60000 -
