  • so... going by what people are saying ...a good quality loo roll should cost 25p or under to be a thrifty bargin.... and stock up ..when it works out.. at these types of prices....

also what about the budget loo rolls.... what should they work out at per roll?
Work to live= not live to work
  • Isn't taking rolls from shops actually stealing?

and don't you feel guilty that the next person to coma along wont have any :)

seems sad that people will pay out for PC's and mobile phones in their life but steal loo roll
  • some times in life...... you get a cash flow blip.......

I had one, a cashflow blip that is, and I 'borrowed' a roll from the local park toilets. Only because there were spares, and only because no decent person would ever actulaly use the loos there unless they were shooting up or chundering after too much special brew...

seems weird that in loos such as you describe (not fit for decent people) there would be a pile of clean loo rolls on supply

On the 'tribe' prog was one tribe whose pigs were fed on human waste - said to be the best meat ever...

My nan used to use the little purple sheets of tissue paper that oranges used to be wrapped in - she used to thread them on a piece of string, so double money saving - no bog rolls to buy or air fresheners - her toilet always had a nice aroma of oranges!!

Not when you have to call a plumber to come and unblock your drains because you have used kitchen roll.

People seem to think that it ok to stick down the loo rather like monthly items and face wipes. They are not designed to go down the loo it says so on the packet.

If you ever watched the life of grim on the TV. They said that they got called out loads of times because people had run out of loo paper and used kitchen roll instead.

Also if you don't have that good a plumbing even using luxury qulited loo rolls can block up your drains.

It doesn't matter to me, Calley. One of my neighbours clips his poodles and flushes the hair down the jakes, so the plumbers come to the Albany quite often. If I block the drains with kitchen paper, I just blame it on the chap with the poodles.
