so I'd rather get something nicer than use more cheap stuff.
I realise about niceness but at the end of the day considering where you put it is it worth spending extra money for niceness for that?

(Pressed the thanks button first by mistake). Ok by niceness I mean something that feels comfortable to use, rather than something rougher that you use more of. It isn't about what the loo roll looks like.
  • i am sure you will forgive me on this one... and please dont come back shouting about how wrong it was i know.....

in the past... when i have been out and about... and money has been extremely tight... when i have gone to the loo somewhere.. ie.. supermarket.... cafe... etc... i have put loo roll in my bag to take home....

there i have said it... i havent told that to anyone.... my confession....

maybe thats why i am trying to stock pile loo rolls... so i dont ever run out when i'm skint again....

Those andrex puppies have a lot to answer for...

Amazing how long a toilet roll can last, however, if people think it's the very last one...

I've done that loads of times. In fact I did it only yesterday. I bet I'll get slated before you do.

zziggi.......i dont know what to say on that one...

also with the no 1's... would it end up more expensive by the time you wash the cloth out:confused:

not if you stick 'em in the wash when you are already doing a load of washing. You can always find a small extra space for hankies in the washing machine drum etc so why not these cloths? I'm sure specially bought (possibly colour coded) face flannels could be used for this purpose. I'm not proud, I would. I mean some MSE'rs use washable sanitary towels so what's the huge difference? You'd probably feel fresher anyway. Using water after peeing then drying has got to be betteras its wshing off urine rather than smearing urine over your bits using paper.I'd still use paper for No.2's though....

Haven't knicked loo rolls but i don't mind taking a generous amounts for snotty noses. I never do carry enough hankies.

You're not the only one, I do this too. Also, when I was a kid my dad was the school caretaker, we always used to have weird square boxes of toilet paper he "accuired". When they ran out we had to use the yellow pages
