I've seen flower buds on my potatoes for the last week or so and now they're blooming :j
  • Oooh!! Was sooo excited this morning...the wild brambles growing at the back just behind my fence are raspberries, just seen the start of some fruits. I think I will try to train them to grow through the fence as it's not solid panels. Don't quite know how but I will try to encourage them through! I'll be able to go foraging in my own back yard :rotfl:

Lucky you :D - the only thing that grows through my fence is next doors weeds, ivy and the snout of their poor dog that is always whining :(

Was outside watering earlier and I noticed that the sweet peas that I have in a pot growing up an obelisk are about to start flowering.

And my bargain yellow rose from Focus is about to flower as well, only thing is it's not yellow, it's red! :rotfl:

Thought I'd bump this up to say that whilst out in the garden today I saw a lovely fat bee buzzing around my toms and going from one flower to another along the whole line of plants - watched it for ages, a lovely sight for sure :D

Realising how much time I spend just looking at my garden. Sometimes thinking what I could do to change or add to a bit, but mostly just walking around or sitting and looking at all the plants. I even find myself stoping and looking out my windows at it when I go past them. I just feel a sense of calm come over me when I'm out there.

First tiny baby green chilli on the plants :) I had green chillies on my shopping list for next week, but have crossed it off now :)
