However got cheered up by going into the garden and seeing a huge flower on my courgette and it looks like a female as a small courgette sat behind it!!
Also picked some yummy strawberries which were ripe and my mangetout has tonnes of pods growing on it.
The garden has really cheered me up this morning.
(cant say the same about the prospect of the dentist as I am petrified of them!)
Yeh hope you feel better soon and the dentist gentle with you !

Hi new to the thread. I got really excited today, I went into pound shop to stock up on shampoo and discovered a whole section of gardening bits where there hadn't been before! Massive pots, compost, trowels, seeds all for one pound yay! Must've looked pretty daft coming in from my lunch break with loads of pots and compost bags but it brightened my day :>0

I didn't really discover anything but I ate my first peas that I have ever grown, out in the garden straight from the pod and they were absolutely delish0

Tough day yesterday, a year since my dad died and i found it a much more challenging day than i expected. But first thing this morning i went out in the sunshine to see all my' babies', in my dressing gown and barefoot as usual! I was crouching down picking out side shoots from my 45 tomato plants ! and i had a real sense of my dad around me, i felt real peace and i knew he was proud of me0

Discovering that what I thought was a fuschia has hundreds of little yellow buds...some of which have opened this morning to reveal a gloriously sunny Rose of Sharon... Note to self - Take more care of labels, and learn my leaves
.
Whatever makes me think I'll be able to grow veggies next year? It's going to be fun, anyway :rotfl:0
