Just a quickie from me today.... not much OS going on really :o

Had some time owing yesterday so thought that while OH was working away, I'd try my dress on as my shoes & underskirt had arrived......pulled up outside our house & OH's car was there as his site visit had been cancelled when he got there  Good job I hadn't got the dress out of its box & he had found it

So spent yesterday afternoon cooking....broccoli & Danish Blue soup for the weekend, asparagus & camembert tart for supper tonight, some Weetabix brownies for work and asparagus with pancetta & parmesan for last nights supper.

Also spent some time searching for piccies of the style of bouquet I want to take to a meeting with the florist next week, then sorted out our table names & table plan......I must have done it very wrong as it was really easy - nothing like the trauma & trouble I've heard they can be :rotfl: We've had all of our RSVP's for the day back, and we have a small clump of people to bump up from evening to day so need to arrange to meet them and say "we were wondering if sir & madam would like an upgrade?" :D

DS2 has his last 2 exams for his degree today & tomorrow....still no nearer deciding what his next move is, think he's hoping his mum wins the Lottery so he can do the MA he wants to but can't afford! Reminds me, need to check the college website for their graduation date & book a hotel in London - in December rather than July...suppose we can do the Chrimbo shopping while we're there! :D

:grouphug: Hugs to all who would like one,

 to all MIA, especially MSD, PP, LW & Thrifty

    Love
    Floss xx

well I had a lovely day out in Lewisham and the train travel was excellent for once, and I caught all my connections.Caterina & Lilaclillie and I sat and talked the hind legs of a donkey this afternoon in M&S's, amply refreshed by numerous cups of tea and coffee supplied curtesy of Caterina's generous vouchers. We had a lovely lunch of Fish & Chips first at a very reasonable price. It seemed so odd to go back to a place that I had known so well when I was young and see how much it had changed over the years.I look forward to the next 'meet'
I am still full from lunch so tonight I will probably have a light supper later on.
I hope everyone has had a good a day as I have I'm off to watch some t.v. and do a bit of knitting.
    Cheers chums

P.S. on the way to the station and on the train found 46p in small silver and copper which has gone ito my 'Ice-cream tin' for the boys when we go on holiday I stick all my odd and ends of tiny change in there and have just under £25 at the moment

Mmmm...I thought that about the table plan too Floss - and was still doing it at 10:30am on the day due to last minute drop outs/illness etc, etc.. ;)

On an OS front, lovely brisket for tea with asparagus and green beans and jackets. That's about it really :D I always read on here but don't often get to post, unless I am off work. DH has cut te hedge and I have been watching Chelsea so I now *need* to go to a garden centre this weekend - did anyone else see the trailing pansies last night?? Quite beautiful. Thanks for the tip about the salad too N9eav :D

*Big hugs* for all those that want or need them :hello:

Oh, don't say that!! I've made people promise they won't be ill or drop out - they'll get a bill for their meal if I have to pay for empty places!!
