    Af'noon :D

Day three of no cakes/biscuits/sweeties/energy drinks/chips/biscuits/or anything remotely naughty and i'm STILL not skinny - what's the craic with that then??? :p

OS today involes going way back to the days of child labour as I left DS-S taking the washing from the WM to the TD and DS-D filling the DW :D brought lunch to work (salad wraps) and dinner will be jacket spuds.

DH is doing two night shifts this weekend (:j@ him getting more work :D) so need to get things sorted for his pack up tomorrow night as I'm working tomorrow.

MS jobs this weekend will just be me and DD (step kids at their mums) which should be 'interesting'.

Beemuzed - hope they get your son's meds sorted quickly. My XH was diagnosed bi-polar but it took seven years of 'episodes' which were difficult ans at times quite frightening. I have to keep a close eye on my boys' MH because it can be hereditary.

Enjoy the rest of the day :)

Now off to chop pots for herby potatoes later..

    Afternoon all,

Happy anniversary to Elona and OH.

Good luck to all doing exams.

Sunny here but windy and a bit chilly...we are to have rain this pm so need to get clothes which have been out all night in so that they won't get wet again.

Trying to pack to-day but can't find my black trousers....they are probably with the camera which I have put somewhere safe! Need to shorten pair of trousers for OH....why didn't I marry a tall man?

Dinner to-day will be spag bol from freezer....need to make some rolls to go with it though so had better get a move on. Oh made a lovely omelette for breakfast so I might miss out on lunch as we ate late.

Kezlou...know what those allergy blisters feel like, I get them on both arms just above my wrist if I do too much cotton crochet.

Just spoke to Caterina and JackieO in Lewisham....they are having a great time, not sure who else is there but no doubt there will be photos on meet up thread.

Don't have a facility on my boiler to just heat water so have turned on immersion as really need some hot water to try to sort kitchen, have set alarm to warn me when it is hot, be going off in a few minutes.

    Have a good day everybody

I've been told by a few people that I show mild signs of asperger's - interesting, it certainly explains a lot  I'll be googling today.

We joking say DS has got his autism from a combination of me and H :o We were told when he was diagnosed that there's probably more people on the Autism Spectrum that don't realise it.

Well took kids to the park. What a disaster. DS tripped whilst walking to the play area and smacked his face on the floor (bruised his top lip) and skinned part of his hand which bled. Cue lots of tears and wailing and I had forgotten my first aid kit so no plasters. Was the first time he has seen blood and I don't think he was impressed. He was already tired after waking twice last night and this just made him even more clingy and whingy. So not the fun filled trip I'd planned.
DD has decided she's not going to nap today too

Anyway have swept patio - baby blue tits in our bird box are squawking their heads off - I thought my kids are demanding but these little tweeters never shut up :rotfl:
I have 8 pea pods on my peas :j:j:j My courgettes have survived planting outside and my sweet peppers are coming on a treat :D

Off to a friends house after school so no tea for me as no doubt I will be chuffing all afternoon :o

    Edited to add:

Beemuzed - Hugs to you and your DS. I hope he can get the help he needs xx

Hello there, bit of a slow day so thought I'd pop in and say hi. Get well soon wishes to everyone with medical issues.

I found another penny this morning right by where the other two were, wonder who has been throwing their money away! It reminded me of a time when I was little and some friends and I went up to the top of one friend's street to collect lots of pennies off the ground there as someone who lived in one of the houses had been getting married.
