Thanks for asking about DS2 - he probably has bi-polar issues, so some highs, but mostly terrrible depressions. Also, chronic pancreatitis - very painful. Currently it's the head rather than the stomach that's causing the problems - his medication is clearly not right, so he's in a MH unit while they try to sort it out.
Beemuzed, I hope your ds gets the help he needs soon, it must be terribly hard for you all, big hugs hun xx0 -

I am torn between staying at home and getting some housework done or taking the kids to the park or something and enjoying some alone time with no other kids in tow. Decisions, decisions..........
Go out. The kids won't remember if the house was tidy or messy, but they'll remember the fun days out with you when they're older.0 -

Good Morning Chums, well my gardener came and we agreed a price.I am very pleased with the result and it looks so much better now the grass is down to less than ankle level It was a jungle out there and knee high.I will have him return in about a fortnights time for another go at it.Today I am off to a meet up in Lewisham. As my car is in the garage I will let the train take the strain. It's many years since I have been there and I'm looking forward to it not only meeting up with the others but seeing what some of my old haunts looklike now.there is a market in the high street so I may have a shufti at the fruit and veg so will take my dollytrolly with me
I sat up and watched the Tom Cruise film 'Eyes Wide Shut' last night until silly o' clock, and what a waste of three hours of my life that was It was a rubbish film but Stanley Kubricks last so I thought I would persevere with it I really wish that I hadn't bothered at all.Cruise and Kidman were awful, and so unbelievable, and the story line was abysmal.Oh well that will teach me not to waste time watching tut Then when I got to bed I was over-tired and wide awake. My arm is a little cooler this morning thank goodness, but I'm still stuffed up with the cold .
Very grey looking and overcastt and it has rained in the night but its not cold at all.Right I'm off to have a shower and some breakfast and get ready for my day out .Hope everyone has a good day.I get my car back tomorrow hopefully in time for me to go to my history class.
Take care everybody

Morning All
Good Luck to all those taking exams, enjoy your day out JackieO and hope DS gets the help he needs soon Beemuzed.
Just having five mins on here till I go off to my course - it's an In Service Day here so courses in the morning and back to school in the afternoon. It's always a bit weird without the children!!
Got up at the normal time (don't have to be at course till 9.30) and put the covers back on the dining room chairs. Have to be honest and say that they don't look much different. At least I know that they are clean. No washing out today, not enough for a load and it is forecast rain anyway.
Have a good day all, will probably pop back on later.0 -

morning all!
didn't get chance to post yesterday. I had a lovely day out with work - we took 2 service users to Witley Court, one of my favourite places, its gorgeous there. Its a stately home that's in ruins after a fire in the twenties and neglected for years until English heritage took over. Its now got beautiful gardens and a huge fountain. Well worth a visit.(its near Worcester)there's also a beautifuyl chruch with a painted ceiling.
everyone had a great day and I had tears in my eyes when the woman we took sat and recited the Lords Prayer in church in memory of her Mum.
OS - Have had a good clean through already this morning, WM on as its sunny here(rained last night)
DH and DS having burgers for tea, Im off out for a meal with work for the birthday of a girl who's left to have her 5th baby:eek: which is due in about a weeks time.
DS1 has managed to get all his deposit back from his flat:j which is great news for him.His long detailed letter obviously did the trick.
(((hugs))) to Diva, PP, Ladygrim and beemuzed and family x x x
Got 2 days off now:j but that means I'm working all bankholiday weekend.
have a great day all
Take care xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Morning :hello:
Zumbaaaaaaaaaaaaa
My DVDs have arrived, can't wait to try them out.
I think a couple of our younger girls are going to start laying early, their combs are very red and they crouch down when you go near them.
I can't believe I can't keep mustard and cress alive this year - ya know, that stuff that 3 year olds can grow :rotfl: Put me in a greenhouse and I will grow wonderful toms, cucs and peppers (and one sweetpea - not sure how that got in there), send me to playschool and I will fail :rotfl:
I've been told by a few people that I show mild signs of asperger's - interesting, it certainly explains a lot  I'll be googling today.Bulletproof0 -
Good morning  Is it safe to come in, JackieGlasgow was showing people her bottom last time I was here

Had to come in as I had a dream last night and Bitsy Bean's scary dolly avatar is now running the country  Not sure if that's better or worse than what we actually have :rotfl::rotfl:
I'm making quesadillas for supper, using bits from the fridge and freezer
I'm well on with making DD's patchwork quilt, so need to measure as I need to buy fabric for the border and the backing. We're planning shopping this weekend (or during the half-term week) so it should be finished soon.
Have a lovely Old Style Day everyone :A:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0
