Oh my god how annoying are Egg!!! I cannot close my credit card because there's yet more interest due on the 18th of Next month!! Apparently some of the money I'd paid off was 'cash borrowings' so the interest is apparently applied over two month (I'm going to have to look through the T&C's) so there's a balance of about 0.50p to come out in November, ugh this is so tiring!! I thought it would be easy!!Adam's diary - My Debt Diary - The Challenge | LBM May 2010 with £23,343.35 | £16,141.46 to go...

:mad:How annoying!
I'm sure that it doesn't need to be that difficult - any other cards calculate a final balance for you and let you close it down then and there, why should Egg be any different?
Is that because you took cash out on it?
Am worried they're gonna do the same to me - trying to get interest on the interestDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -

I cant wait to get rid of my Egg cards. Do you know if you can keep the Egg money manager facility without the Egg card? If not, I will need to keep my Egg Money card open, although I will cut it up and have the limit reduced to the minimum so I can't get tempted ever again!0
