Hi there Adam - we have spoken on another diary but today I read through your diary and ahve been dead impressed with your attitide! I am pleased to see that you've got stuff under control, but still allow yourself a little treat now and again - I dont dare let myself off the hook yet but am looking forward to seeing some of my numbers going down and then allowing myself maybe a small treat. But that said I am going to Iceland soon and that's going to cost me a fair whack in eating and drinking out etc - holidays are surely no place for budgets! So, until then, no spending for me!
I will be watching with interest for the development which will see you debt free earlier than planned - how very intriguing! :-)0 -
Hi EB
I went to Iceland a few years back, the food and drink there is unbelieveably expensive. Two main meals cost us £60!
Will you go to the Blue Lagoon? That was amazing.LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

Yes - booked to do a few tours, I cant wait for the Blue Lagoon trip, BF looking forward to the Golden Circle and both desperately hoping to see the Northern Lights.
Not even going to try to budget whilst out there, will enjoy it on the basis that I cancelled my last weekend away, I am now "entertaining at home" for the next one and will not now be going to Cape Town in January (havent told BF that yet though...)0 -
