Well done on your car insurance!

You been checking out the cashback sites yet? :D

Think I saw on Woowoo's diary that it's your big night out you mentioned a while ago?

    You looking forward to it?

    Thanks beccie.

Not checked any cashback sites yet, but will make sure I do so when back from my holiday. That is my first goal, although our bills are already so cheap already.

As for tonight, yep it's the night out I was talking about. I have my suit ready and OH has her dress. So far this night has cost nearly £200!!! Eeeeeeek! It better be a good one :D

    Hi Adam,

Big congrats on the payrise and bonus, you deserve it and I know you willl put it to good use :D. The car insurance is amazing but so annoying at the same time, it's amazing how much it can change when you threaten to leave, it's such a joke! Mine seems to be going up every year now .

Have a fab time tonight

I think I have reached my 'limit' of reduced premiums, I have like 7 or 8 years no claims now but for some stupid reason I think my car is group 13 which doesn't help. This year I tried ALL of the comparison sites and the only way I got it lower than last year was by using First Direct who were guaranteeing to beat current quotes so it ended up being about £40 cheaper than my renewal.

I think I am paying about £280 for FC with protected no claims, bit of a joke really but by going 3rd party I would only have saved about £20 so it just wasn't worth the risk.

Ugh! What a crap weekend! Had my iPhone stolen Saturday night, so I'm going to be without that on my holiday, which isn't really essential, but arranging lifts and everything is going to be a pain!

Lloyds still haven't processed my credit card, so I'm going to get another months interest from Egg added to my account! Damn can this day get better please?

Oh no! :( Was that on your night out? I had my phone stolen while I was in Africa and it was such a pain

    Is it insured?

Do you have an old phone you could take on holiday with you?

Yes the phone is insured, but there's a £30 excess which I'd rather not have to pay :( It was on my night out, so kind of ruined the evening for us to be honest...

Sorry to hear about your phone Adam, it's so annoying when that happens. I know the £30 is money you don't want to have to pay but it could have been much much worse if you weren't insured (actually my colleague broke his iphone and I think his excess was £50 ). I hope they get a shiny new replacement phone sorted quickly for you :)
