T-Mobile VAT charges....

Your basic line rental (regardelss of overspend) is £30 a month including VAT. All you could do is ask them for the recording of the conversation at the time since it's only about 2-3 months ago. However, you know how awful this organisation is so I doubt you'll get very far. "I'm fairly sure" says it all when accepting any deal from anyone orally. I'm afraid a judge wouldn't think twice in a court of law - and I wouldn't either, to be fair. As with Vodafone, cpw and even reputable organisations (they aren't!) ALWAYS get it in writing or you're liable to end up in this situation. Almost daily people post on the Vodafone threads of being signed up to completely different deals to those they actually agreed to - even when they WERE "sure".0

I am on £25p/m price plan (which for some reason is listed in the first image as £25.53) with two boosters inlcuded worth a total of £5 (however these are included free).
It looks as though I have been charged VAT on my line rental and outside allowance charges....when in fact VAT should be included in the £25.
only one booster is free, your paying another fiver for the other one. I only know this because I have been looking on the site for a contract from them.
It clearly states one booster is free and any additional will cost £50 -

Yeah, you're right. I'll look into it anyway.only one booster is free, your paying another fiver for the other one. I only know this because I have been looking on the site for a contract from them.

I get the normal one free plus two extra as part of the retentions deal I negotiated.0 -
Sounds like you're being charged for the two extra, taking it from £25 to the £30.0

did you get it in writing re the extra booster, if not it may not exist and they are indeed charging you for it0

Just checked my plan breakdown online. The two boosters are listed but there is a loyalty discount to their price so no actual charge.
The plan is listed as £21.28, with £4.25 for web and walk (whatever that is) which takes the price up to £25.53 + outside allowance charges. VAT is then added to that total.
So WebnWalk is the extra charge. Without that, and without the outside allowance charges, my tariff + VAT comes up to £25 which is correct. I think that might be the internet part of the phone but I am certain this is free with Android phones.
I've been reading the T-Mobile forums and this has happened to someone else who had their account rectified with a refund as well so hopefully I have a chance yet.0 -
Just had a lengthy, frustrating chat with a TMobile customer services guy.
I told him I shouldn't be charged for WebnWalk Plus, it's free with android handsets and it was agreed upon when I negotiated the contract. Even had to give him instructions on how to find it on the TMobile homepage.
He then said he would do me a 'favour' and half the cost of WebnWalk
He didn't budge and we went back and forth for ages. I told him the exact time and date of my retentions call and he then agreed to refund this month's charge and ensure there would be no further charges for WebnWalk. I also asked to have my entire plan in writing and he agreed.
I've checked my online account and no adjustments have been made and I've yet to receive the email confirming my plan breakdown....0
