  • Hi all
Saved £25 by arguing (loudly) in the Lloyds TSB branch against the charges they had put on a cc I haven't used in ages - without telling me first! They agreed to refund charges and I have closed account (ner, ner....)!
however I have subsequently gone and spent at least a fiver of that on treats whilst still on my "little person beats the big guys" high. but reckon I'm 20 quid up!

I walked to work instead of getting the bus that saved me £1.50.
I found 10 pence in the street (so that has saved me spending 10p of my money in the future).
My ex brought my toiletries around that I had left at his place and thats about a tenners worth.
I took my lunch to work rather than having one there that saved me 70pence.
So all in all today so far...I have saved > £12.30

Not bad going really coz I am normally such a spend thrift.:p

Hmmmm - don't know if that one counts as it isn't a saving as such if you'd already spent £10 on them then got them back...?
