Not exactly an essential but got a voucher code for John Lewis for 20 pounds off if youspend 50 or more (from. Shopped throug voucher code thread) bought through quidco. Bought a case of wine costing 54 pounds (origianal price 88) Add on 3.95 delivery, minus the 20 pounds came to 37.95. Saving 50.05 plus the quidco points (can't remember the percentage) Works out a 3.19 per bottle. The aim is to put it away for christmas (gifts and us as a treat). Quite a good saving I think.
  • I bought some courgettes reduced to 10p from 99p, a walnut loaf reduced to 10p from £1.29, some plums reduced from £2.99 to 90p, plus I had two pieces of cheap toast for my lunch at work, I was going to buy a meal in the staff restaurant, so I've saved quite a bit today. So £5.00 or £6.00.
A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

About £4. I needed to buy some pregnancy vitamins and the 90 tablet tub cost £12+ whereas the 30 tablet tub was £4 something but was 3 for 2 so it cost me around £8 for 3 x 30. Definitely worth reading all the offers!

Lynzpower - putting the magazine back IS moneysaving! I do that alot in Borders... but then I do pay for a coffee, so I could do better!

Excellent posts - can I ask that everyone makes it really clear how much they saved - Davedunn mentioned how much he/she got the Dymolabel for but not how much was actually saved... Please edit your post if you see this ;)

Then I can start running a total for August :T
