Ah, you've discovered a loophole... he he - you could technically 'save' money on that £2k if you moved it to a top paying interest account... joking aside, my old Tessa ISA earned £2 less a month, so a few months ago I saved £24 a year by moving to National Counties!

I bought a birthday prezzie (brand new) from a charity shop (half hangs head in shame) and saved around £5.
I bought a bogoff radox bubble bath set for xmas prezzie saving £2.99
Reduced mans body spray from £4.95 to 99 pence so saved £3.94 (thats a christmas prezzie also.
    So today I have saved £11.93 :D

Xmas pressies so soon - you're very organised! We are avoiding Christmas and New Year expenses this year by... going to Thailand. We worked it out and it was almost cheaper than an Autumn weekend break + Xmas spending (combined present, food, drink and going out costs). :p

So we saved... £50 in regular/normal home food shopping at Xmas, he he....
