Lets just say.... I was gonna buy a nice big plasma tv for 2k but never bothered in the end, does that count as how much you saved today? 2k (cause i was gonna spend it but didnt)

Ah, you've discovered a loophole... he he - you could technically 'save' money on that £2k if you moved it to a top paying interest account... joking aside, my old Tessa ISA earned £2 less a month, so a few months ago I saved £24 a year by moving to National Counties!MFW #185

Xmas pressies so soon - you're very organised! We are avoiding Christmas and New Year expenses this year by... going to Thailand. We worked it out and it was almost cheaper than an Autumn weekend break + Xmas spending (combined present, food, drink and going out costs).

Last night I was going to watch a movie with friends, £6.50 - we ended up getting snacks (I paid £3.00) and going to one of their flats...

On Saturday I saved £45 - instead of buying casserole pots from Ikea, I got them from https://www.freecycle.org locally and paid nothing!

Today I saved £1.50 as I walked to work instead of getting the bus, I took lunch to work so that saved 70 pence. i didnt buy a TV mag I decided to look at the TV listings online so that saved me about 45pence
So in total I have saved £2.65 Saved today Yay!
Only a few pence but every penny counts.
