    Today I have saved -

£47 I brought back in Euros from my hols that I didn't spend :)

And I walked home from work rather than getting a bus...so thats a total of

    £48.50 savings today :D
  • On Saturday I bought more from the £1 shop! Normally 2 x kitchen paper rolls are £1 at Sommerfield - I bought 6 for a quid at the £1 shop! This saved £2.

  • Well I saved £32 by using coupons and getting BOGOFs in Asda today. Not sure that I would have bought everything that I did if I hadn't got the vouchers, but I did... ha!

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.
  • What coupons do you get? I would like to shop at ASDA and a friend has offered to drive me there sometime - where can I get vouchers though?

Hop over to the coupons and vouchers and discounts board... have a peek. Is always worth checking out the newspaper summary (and the rest of the board really!!!)...

  • I saved £2 by getting lifts to & from work - woohoo!
I have also put some loose change in the pot which collects coppers & 5p's, all to be banked very soon. Only about another 9p though, tee hee.

I also have a novelty piggy bank which I put 10p into today.

    So that's a whopping £2.19 saved today.

Today I saved £1.99 by buying a shampoo with Advantage card points rather than cash...

Plus I went to London for the whole weekend with friends - instead of paying £25 each return via train, we paid £2 each via MegaBus - £75 became £6!

    Saving £1.99 + £69 = £70.99

Today I saved £3.50 by buying a facewash from the £1 store rather than Boots - it's lovely and for sensitive/dry skin - By Neutrogena.

I also found Stardrops in Savers - at £0.69, which I reckon will save me at least £14 over the year in kitchen counter sprays, floor cleaner, general cleaner etc.

    Total saved: £17.50
