Warning if you have just bought a phone from OSPS

Got my phone last week from OSPS, checked through to find little paperwork (just invoice) and no Cashback forms.

I called them straight away as you only have 14 days to tell them the cashback forms are missing. They said they would email me a form and also send a welcome pack, the email would take three days and the welcome pack a few weeks.

Called again today as I had not had the email and found out a little more, they are out of stock of welcome packs so are not sending them out, this means customers are not getting their cashback forms.

When she said they were out of stock I said, "does this mean nobody is getting them", she said "put it this way, I have taken over 100 calls from people who did not get them, thats why we are emailing the forms".

The good side of this is it will be very handy to have a PDF of the form for future use

So upshot is check your paperwork and if you don't have a form, make sure you report it within 14 days and get a note on their system to that effect.

We were told we'd be emailed them last Wednesday. Still waiting......

Thankfully i've got a backup copy sent to me by a very kind person off of here in pdf format.

My husband had a contract with OSPS last year and had no problems getting his cash back cheques but this time on his new contract it was exactly the same story as yours. I notified them the day I signed for his phone as there were no vouchers and I was aware of the 14 period to notify them of any problems. I was told they would be posted to me within 7 - 10 days but they didnt arrive. My husband rang and they said they would be emailed to him but they weren't. After several more phone calls we wrote a letter, sending it by recorded delivery, notifying them in writing that we had not received them. After nearly 2 months we received them through the post with a compliment slip AND by email the same day! So I suggest putting it in writing.

If they didnt send them would this be a breach of contract on their part and enable you to cancel your deal with them?

Just to give you all some feedback, I lost my paperwork and got the pdf file, sent it off half completed (didn't know all the details) and got my cashback fine!

I was told the same thing when I took my contract at the end of Sept. that they would email me the voucher and send me the pack. No pack has arrived. What is supposed to be in the pack? These companies seem to be experts at creating unrest even if there is none there in the first place.
