There must some kind of link between this site and My City Deal.

I have the voucher, and a watch I want to buy, but I cant put my voucher in, or see where to put it, it keeps telling me its invalid.Trophies are like Buses, you wait 26 years.
Then 3 come along at once!!!!0 -
Thats what I was thinking too.
I will be calling them at 10am today to lay into them.
Will report back here once done.
I called the customer services at watchesshop.com just to be told they cant do anything to help, i must use the websites "Contact Us" mail page to send the complaint direct to their MD Mr Danny Toffel.
I asked about the price match to their exact same watches they're selling on Amazon (one is only £45 too) but i got the same answer, talk to the MD who isnt in the office.
Im emailing them now. Back soonLive long & prosper.0 -

Hi there.
Yesterday I bought a MyCityDeal voucher for £5 that gives me a £50 eVoucher with yourselves to spend on a small selection of very beautiful watches. The only reason I did this was because there were a few lovely Krug Baumen watches from £49 to £59 which would make a fantastic birthday present & also makes the MyCityDeal deal brilliant value for money. There was also one or two other watches on your site that appeal to myself too.
However, I was watching your site last night. The moment the MyCityDeal ended, the Krug Baumen 150359KL watch doubled in price to £99 & a few mins later every other Krug Baumen watch under £99 jumped up to £99.
What on earth is going on here?
It certainly seems an unusual coincidence that ALL the sub £99 watches just happend to jump up to £99 when many people get £50 vouchers.
To be quite honest, I feel extremely cheated & furioulsy upset by this action.
To add insult to injury, that 2 of the Krug Baumen watches have just been set back to £49 OUT OF STOCK but you are still showing the 150359KL on Amazon as in stock
Please adviseLive long & prosper.0 -
What a coincidence, the watches I complained about, were dropped back to their original prices & out of stock, just minutes AFTER I spoke to customer services at watchesshop.com about them.
This is absolutely SHOCKING.....!!!!Live long & prosper.0 -
I don't post on Grabbit much these days, but have read a few dodgy things about My City deals on other forums. This does sound like a scam frankly, and I am surprised and disappointed if MSE is happily part of it.
It goes against everything that the site stands for, and although we all know that the site must be a huge earner for Martin, I would hope that he values his personal reputation enough to look into this.
Personally, given all the problems and risks, I will be giving My City deals a wide berth.0 -

I've re-read the deal again:
Voucher is redeemable against Triumph, Levis, Ballistic, J.Springs, Krug-Baumen and Charles Conrad brands
Please let me know if the voucher code is redeemable agains other brands.Live long & prosper.0 -

HOLD UP A MO......
Firstly, I suspect there is a reason MSE support MCD, its because MCD do have dam good deals. Personally, I have used MCD many time & save a hell of a lot of £££ with them.
Secondly, after reading the MSE forums about MCD, I strongly suspect watchesshop.com are simply pulling a fast one & trying to get more cash out of people by using underhand tactics. Is that MCD's problem?
Thankfully, MCD have a 7 day refund policy which we can use.
Lastly, after reading the MSE forums & even with the disgusting sales behaviour at watchesshop.com, i will still use MCD. Thats how good value they have been to me.Live long & prosper.0
